Chill with the Beast riding.  Jeez. What about other dudes that keep it clean and to the point.  Come on man.  Dude didn't want to adhere to NFL policy, gets fined numerous times and frets.  That's cool?  Dude is now generalizing the media and still upset after all these months.  Holds a grudge like no tomorrow.

Why does the NFL have all these players talking to the media all week long when they're preparing for the biggest game of their lives. Leave them alone and let them talk to the media if they choose to

Because it's a business, and creating hype, media and attention brings in money.

Tell ya what, I can watch Katy Perry interviews all day long. Girl is serious. :{

i get that but do they really need to have each player do a media session every day of the week?

I'm real big on not forcing things on people.

Dude don't want to talk.

Don't make him. It's not his job. He is paid to be a football player. Everything that goes into playing football... practicing, studying, working out, dieting, sacrificing time away from family, sacrificing his body being broken down... all that is his job. If he were trying to skip out on that or whining about that, I'd take issue. I'd chime in, "That's your job."

But talking to the media? What does that have to do with his job?

It's like getting mad at your plumber because he didn't show up with donuts and coffee.

"Makes the players accessible to the fans, through the media."

 Riiiight.

You guys see Josh Gordon's open letter?

Pretty insightful. Though I still believe in what I said before...

"Testing for weed is dumb. Testing for alcohol is even dumber. Josh Gordon is the dumbest. All statements can be true."

Didn't you see Ricky WIlliams 2 time the interview?  It's not like it's a long but meeting and most players have it after games anyways.  This is NFL policy, it's not that big of a deal.  Imagine the NBA w/ 82 plus games.  The NFL ain't even that long.

It's like a week long festivity like AVN in LV.

My open letter to Josh Gordon is playing in the NFL is a privilege and if he wants to do things that aren't allowed go back to the car dealership

I want to wear jeans and sneakers to work everyday but I can't because it's against the rules but I could go work at Walmart and do that.

This younger social media generation feels so entitled

It's just the policy.  I agree he doesn't have to talk, and he doesn't have to throw them a bone either.  But he could either just BS like most of them, or say he doesn't wanna talk and stare behind his DARK SHADES.

exactly.  if u don't wanna talk, den be either suck it up, go to the CFL, or sell clothes.

So now apparently the league didn't log any of the psi of each ball before the game so they don't know the exact levels they were measured at...

it's always bothered me that there's a certain slave owner mentality on behalf of the mostly white members of the media (& ownership obviously) who demand that the mostly black players have to be a certain way or cater to them as if they owe their success to them. it's really the other way around. these geeks who never played competitive football are the ones who have jobs because of these athletes

these so called sport journalists actually believe that they're responsible for a player's popularity  & riches and therefore have to bow down to them when it's time to ask them the most basic, uninspired or cliche questions. they're the ones who are quick to profit off someone's success then do what they can to cut them back down in order to get their articles noticed

if you ain't cooperating you're just a stupid thug or something

rook rook If it was Gronkowski they would be interviewing his parents and they would be saying how he was raised to be respectful, and only say something when you have something nice to say.
Then they would spin that to make it seem like he's a 19th century gladiator that is preparing for the biggest battle of his life, and he doesn't talk before going into battle.

my exact thoughts. smh

Beast Mode is showing all the people in the world that "keep it 100", exactly how to execute the "No Haters Allowed" playbook :smokin

Blandino said that when officials receive game footballs before kickoff, they measure the footballs to determine whether they are "approved" or "disapproved." The specific pounds-per-square-inch number for each football is not recorded.

Without any type of logged information, it's impossible to know exactly where Patriots footballs measured before the AFC Championship Game with the Colts. The only certainty, according to the NFL, is that the Patriots footballs were "approved" before the game and "disapproved" when the footballs were submitted for testing at halftime.

Colts footballs were also checked at halftime of the AFC title game, Blandino said, and they were approved. But It's unclear if they fell in PSI during the first half.

Without any log of the amount of air pressure in each Patriots football, there is no record that the footballs were, in fact, gauged before the game. The NFL, however, believes that AFC title game referee Walt Anderson properly performed his pregame duties.

This new revelation on deflate

and the refs being completely confused on how to acknowledge an ineligible receiver days before the Super Bowl

pretty disastrous day for the league office

Josh Gordon kept it 100 in that letter he wrote. Nothing screamed sense of entitlement IMO. He placed the blame on himself and took responsibility for his actions.

Hope he's able to turn it around, seems like he just doesn't have the right support system in his corner. Gotta eliminate those leeches. He's only 23, still has a chance to get back on track but he's running out of life lines.

So what examples of white players do you have that would help this argument?
