You guys are really making solid counter arguments here with your smilies and sayings like "stats don't tell the whole story".
I really don't see the problem in saying Russell is a decent QB that can run. It's like dudes get offended if you don't say he's great.
Man did y'all see that chick with AP yesterday?
Damn...
Did anyone say he was Dilfer? If so that is inaccurate
If I was starting a team right now and couldn't pick Brady or Rodgers, Russell Wilson might be my next choice. (factoring in the aging of Manning, Romo, Brees, etc)
Lol If you take Wilson over Luck good luck.
If we gonna talk about systems inflating QBs stats, you can't ignore Tom Bradys completions of under 5 yards that pad the completion %.
Regardless, I never said RW was better than Brady or P Manning. But he's definitely one of the better QBs and top 10.

Nah last time i remember theres an undefeated QB in SBs with no tainted legacy either.

People place too much weight on that undefeated in Super Bowls or NBA Finals stat. An L in the playoffs is still an L, whether its the Wild Card or Super Bowl, they took that L. As long as your record isn't like a Jim Kelly 0 for 3 or whatever, it shouldn't hole that much weight.

Terry
As far as 4 vs 6, you have to take the competition and conference strength into play. That hurts Brady compared to Joe IMO but still 4/6 is incredible

Trailing by 4 points halfway through the third quarter tonight, the New England Patriots had a first-and-goal at the Green Bay 1-yard line. It looked like an easy touchdown, like the emotional lift they needed to recover from what had been a flat performance. Then came disaster.
Four straight plays, and no score. No gain on a first-down run, then three straight incomplete passes. On fourth down, quarterback Drew Bledsoe tried to squeeze a pass to fullback Keith Byars, but it was knocked away by cornerback Tyrone Williams, the same player who had been burned on two deep plays by Terry Glenn. At this point, you could almost see the Patriots deflate, and the rematch from last year's Super Bowl was basically over.
