Interested to see how Kiko does without Buffalo's elite d-line

This is what I said. He might not play the same. He's going from a great defense to an okay at best defense. Plus, Chip isn't a defensive guy. There was good defensive coaching in Buffalo last year. I also didn't know this was his second knee surgery.

They freed up cap space but McCoy isn't a RB you just let go. Hes top 3 and in happy as hell I don't have to worry about him anymore.

Philly fans got me checking this thread constantly.

I don't see Suh going to the Giants but I would love it. I think he goes to the Raiders or Dolphins.

Tennessee isn't getting Mariota. He's not their style of QB and Cheeseburger isn't too bad.

Ok....can we stop degrading Shady like as if he's had a huge drop off Chp held him back we all know he can run and catch what more does chip want from?!?! This is not College Football his system is not working trying to get duck players on your team is not the way yall was 10-6 last year why would you wanna start over or rebuild when you are kind of close I don't get the move man but then again I did say the same about desean jax seems like all Reid's guys getting the boot :{

His system isn't working?

Before Nick Foles got hurt, they were 6-2. Mark Sanchez went 4-4 in 'his system.'

10-6 and he doesn't know what he's doing.

Word.

Has he done anything since he's been there...10-6 with a horrible Giants and skins in the same division ok.....

Chp held him back

chip gave him the ball 626 times the last 2 seasons, which is the most in the NFL

he gave him the ball 312 times last season, which was 2nd in the NFL

that's not counting the amount of times he was targeted in the passing game

please explain how chip "held him back"

When you start taking away his goaline touches and also giving away his touches to sproles that's holding him back

Darren Sproles averaged 5.8 yards per carry last year tho.

last season: 312 rushing attempts.. targeted 37 times in the passing game

year before: 314 rushing attempts.. targeted 65 times in the passing game

that's not enough for you?

I respect what chip has done, takes big balls. Now we just have to see if it works or blows up in their face. It's gotta be pretty exciting time for eagles fans (level headed ones). They have a lot of money now.

Oline and a defense > RB

best thing eagles got going for a rookie QB is: Jason peters, evan mathias, Jason kelce and lane johnson

An elite RB helps greatly. i.e. Marshawn Lynch & Russ. Seahawks have a great D and O-line, but Marshawn always bails out Russ.

If I can get all three. O line, defense, and a great RB I'll take it.

And if rebuilding with a rookie QB a RB like Shady would help him a lot. Led the league in rushing in 2013 and in a bad year he had over 1300.

What's the point of keeping a guy one year when your rookie QB isn't exoected to win a SB

You get something for him and Kiko is a potential cornerstone defensive player

You make a good point about getting something for him but for a dude in his second year that didn't even play last year? Nah. If I'm making that deal I'm getting a player that's more proven. I don't know about all that cornerstone ****. That Bills defense had talent everywhere. It was a money deal and Chip likes choir boys. That's basically it. We'll see how it plays out on the field.

Reggie Bush - 9 seasons, 5465 rushing yards (607 yards per season)

LeSean McCoy - 6 seasons, 6792 rushing yards (1132  yards per season)

DeMarco Murray - 4 seasons, 4526 rushing yards (1131 yards per season)

kiko was hurt last season.. he had his great rookie season the year before

Chip was 20-12 with Andy Reid's players, Andy Reid was 12-20 with Andy Reid players

Chip reached the apex of what he could do with these guys now he is making HIS team, really don't see what's so hard to understand.

37 targets in the passing game last season compared to 65 the year before.

Is there a more diminished position in all of professional sports than running back?

Spot on.

You don't trade shady now especially for one player that's coming off 2 cal surgeries tf is you thinking Chip....one dumb mf :lol

Trades aren't your thing, the one you made last summer backfired

Lots of female reproductive references around here today. Odd

This.
Hope Troy retires or at the least goes to a contender...

I'll start questioning Chips moves when he has a losing season, or the Eagles underachieve for non injury reasons.
