It's not ironic, it's the truth. (For the record I never said that)

What is ironic is Stillin and itsaboutthattime was praising Randle when I was down on him at the beginning of the year, calling him a legit #2 RB, now the Cowboys won't be OK if we lost Murray?

There goes some more of that flip flopping.
ummmmmm when did I ever say it would be the end of the world if the cowboys lost murray?

I've said all year that the cowboys would be stupid to pay him a ton of money after the work load he just had and his injury history.. and I've sang the praises of that Oline (which is what i assume you are referring to above, because I still think you guys will be ok with your other rbs)

please quote an example of me "flip flopping"

Saints should draft Mariota and have him learn from Brees for a few years.

They play in a dome.
Fast paced team.
Sean Payton can run a Mariota friendly offense.

I think Its a good spot for him.

lots of pots and kettles in here

AFC fans just watching from the sidelines :lol

You don't trade shady now especially for one player that's coming off 2 cal surgeries tf is you thinking Chip....one dumb mf
laugh.gif
he's coming off of 1 acl surgery (14 months ago)

he's had 2 (the other was in 2010)

Cowboys fans get so in there feels, funny how you twist that I said he was better than Dunbar and Ryan Williams

Insecurities running wild like Hulkamania

No feels. Just laughing at you and your new avy :lol

Good trade for the Eagles to clear cap space but horrible deal talent wise. They should've been able to get some draft picks out of the deal also and maybe another player. McCoy is at worst a top 5 RB in the league...and you trade that guy to a coach who covets the run game for a unproven LB coming off injury straight up! That's crazy IMO

...and what happens if Kiko doesn't pass his physical and the trade is nullified. Now you are going to wind up getting a worst because Shady is gonna want out and teams know what you accepted for the original trade.

This better work or the fans in Philly will have pitchforks out.

Realistically I don't see how the Eagles replace Shady's production.... There isn't a running back, free agency or draft, that can. Then couple that with the possibility of a rookie QB in the backfield. It's not looking bright.

And if rebuilding with a rookie QB a RB like Shady would help him a lot. Led the league in rushing in 2013 and in a bad year he had over 1300.

Oline and a defense > RB

best thing eagles got going for a rookie QB is: Jason peters, evan mathias, Jason kelce and lane johnson

But if you aren't going to keep him after this year, get something instead of nothing. In the NFL at times, due to salary and the cap, you let guys go that you can't just replace production, however you can sometimes improve the team. When Pitt lost Plaxico, they didn't replace his production with one player but they won the SB the next year

I do agree that a pick or two would've been nice for Philly

There's a good chance McCoy is not a top 5 back in Buffalo.  There's a good chance he is not productive looking at his season last year and the fact that the Bills don't have a special O-Line.  So I do think his production is replaceable.

But his addition is noting but a plus. He is def an upgrade over Spiller & Jackson, and they what life is without Kiko, based on last year. The Eagles haven't really had an extended period of time without LeSean.

An elite RB helps greatly. i.e. Marshawn Lynch & Russ. Seahawks have a great D and O-line, but Marshawn always bails out Russ.

What's the point of keeping a guy one year when your rookie QB isn't exoected to win a SB

You get something for him and Kiko is a potential cornerstone defensive player
