Hence where i said he made a mistake and went too far.

This man does not deserve to be run out of the league for whooping his kid.

Miss me with this pretend pc ******** the NFL is full of **** they've got a team named after a damn racial slur that the owner openly refuses to change but yea lets lay the hammer down on the guy who whooped his kid.

Roger Goodell watched a tape of a 200lb man slugging his girl and didn't give a **** this isn't about doing the right thing it's about finding some fall guys.

Meanwhile dudes get accused of rape multiple times and i dont see anybody trying to run Rothlisberger out the league....

- What does this even mean? "I'm sure" - why are you sure? That is not far from the battered girlfriend/wife defense man. "Oh, ____ didn't mean it, he's not normally like that, he just needed to calm down" He didn't mean to hit the child in the scrotum? He meant to doll out punishment to his son(s). He meant to install the switch closet in his home, as he said. You say "I'm sure he didn't intend to hit his scrotum", you plainly ignore acknowledging 'Well, why is Adrian Peterson's form of punishment to a four-year-old involve him being anywhere near the kid's scrotum, where something like that could happen?" Playing devil's advocate for your ridiculous stance, how do you not even acknowledge that?

Last week: Adrian Peterson didn't attend a voluntary workout with a workout bonus, thereby passing on $250,000 while in the same breath complaining about not having enough guaranteed money. He had to go to a minimum 90% of offseason activities, and he's missed that already. If he missed one day of OTAs (which he did), the money coming in drops down to $92,000. If he misses two days, it puts you even below that cusp - and guess what - he missed all three days of OTAs last week. Make no mistake, Adrian Peterson is nothing close to a torch carrier for exemplifying the importance of guaranteed contracts.

He doesn't deserve to NOT work BECAUSE he's a public figure and sins being public doesn't mean he gets a bigger pitchfork... BUT, he doesn't deserve to hit his kid 40x with a switch, luckily still have a job, and then completely disrespect how fortunate he was to STILL HAVE A JOB by using the ordeal to get out of a contract he VOLUNTARILY signed or to get MORE guaranteed $ from that team when he wasn't campaigning for that BEFORE this story. Come on. You're campaigning for his employment/Vikings to allow him employment with somebody else, Cash?

Put what he did aside for a second, from a standpoint of leverage, in the last 365 days of this employee-employer relationship between Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings:

- He made upwards of $8 million in 2014 ... to sit out.

- He blasts the team, saying he doesn't feel like they support him/doesn't trust one of the guys in the front office. Again, ONE GUY. One. How many people work above you where you're employed?

- He comes out and says after the incident his wife and his family don't feel comfortable in Minnesota. You say the NFL is making Adrian a fall guy, well Adrian just made HIS FAMILY the fall guys (plural).

- He and his agent rip the team publicly and say that if they value him they need to follow through on it by giving him a raise.

- On draft night, his agent posted a picture to his Facebook account saying "Game on!" where the agent is wearing an Adrian Peterson jersey with a Buccaneers hat.

- Oh, and after all of that? The Vikings are actively trying to employ him, and give him $15 million to play football next year. What ******* nerve they have.

Adrian says coaches don't have to honor their contracts.

Adrian, how about you honor YOUR contract? How many RUNNING BACKS make as much money as the Vikings want to pay him?

This is unbelievable. :lol

A coach whose job will be on the line isn't sitting the #2 overall pick

Sad truth.

He's gonna throw that kid to the wolves in hopes of saving his own skin.

I'd say let em sit early start em the second half of the season but like you said won't happen.

Goddamn lying clownfraud.

I saw that quick edit :lol

Having a contract doesn't equal AP being the Viking's "slave forever"

I really think the best situation for both parties is AP playing with the Vikings

Vikings will make the playoffs with Teddy making a nice step forward in 2015

Then NT will call Teddy overrated after he fails to win the SB

Really looking forward to seeing what a motivated AP can do with Teddy
