NFL Discussion Thread: Pats win SB XLIX. Offseason begins

Anytime anyone says ANYTHING about the Seahawks, that isn't ball juggling praise, the same 2 come out the side of their face about it. :lol

Now some of y'all see why Russ gets thrown under the bus.

At least Sherman really is good tho. And important to that squad. The other guy, meh, he could be replaced by 20 other guys and the team doesn't skip a beat.

:lol I don't understand how Richard Sherman could possibly play the whole field at cornerback

You mean you want him to follow a receiver all across the field?

Is following the #1 the whole field or just a third of the field? I'm not sure what's hard to understand.

some guys do it. revis will be cover a guy no matter where he lines up. was huge when the Pats when on that 7 or so game win streak and shut down some big time WRs.

i don't knock Sherman for not doing that one bit. he doesn't have to. could he do it? probably. i don't see why not. but that's not how the Seattle defense works. so i don't knock him for it.

I don't think I ever said Sherman is responsible for TB's numbers or that loss. I'm just saying, you Seattle fanboys give Sherman way too much credit. "He didn't try him with one arm". Let's relax with that ********, he threw at his side and he would get thrown at a lot more if he played the entire field, not just a third of the field. I think Sherman is top 5 today but I've said since day one, he's not elite and he's not the best. Deion Sanders has hinted at that many times on TV but people are too scared to speak up.

Zero football IQ? How long you been a Seahawks fan, since 05? Just like the rest of the young crowd in Seattle. You children make me laugh. I was in the Kingdome watching Ricky Watters live while you were somewhere rocking a DAL or SF jersey like everyone else.
I've been a Seahawks fan since the Knicks were good homie

Anyway the Sherman argument is tired.  You have a right to your opinion even though you are wrong.

That question wasn't for you, it was for the other bozo.

So Sherman is elite on the Colts, Washingon or Cowboys defense?

Could be the same thing that happened to Nnamdi once he left Oakland. Impossible to tell unless he goes elsewhere. Not sure what type of response you're gonna get, because it's an extreme hypothetical.

Landon Collins rocking #21 for Sean Taylor...

*salute* :hat
:smokin

Hope he won't be half the player ST was though.

:lol Great gesture, but you hit the nail on the head.

Leave my Cowboys out of this fam, our D played pretty well last season despite the injuries catching up.

If we had an elite CB like Sherman to mask our limited pass rush, we probably end up in the Bowl last season to be honest. But y'all don't hear me tho.

Steelers need a shut down CB, it's time. Loved Taylor and he did a great job vs #1s, but he wasn't shut down

Temp starting to rise again in here :lol

He sure is.

Damn, Cowboys would be dope with Sherman out there.

Seattle has a great defense and that might be the best secondary I've ever seen. I just have a big problem with Sherman calling himself the best when that secondary has a few all pros and pro bowlers. When Kam went down, that team started to struggle and lost a couple games.

Not sure how a DB like Sherman would've made Dez catch that ball 8o

We wouldn't have been in that position if we had 1 elite CB that could cover either Cobb or Adams.

Nice try tho Broseph

All hypothetical tho, so it's irrelevant.

On another note, did ya get a QB yet or nah? 8o
