I disagree with the notion that sherm couldn't be nice anywhere.. Technique and those ball skills travel man.
But you did make a fair point about Kam. That defense was night and day without Kam and the few weeks he was a step slow getting his feet back under him.
Once him (and I believe Wagner) came back it looked like the same defense from the year before.

The defense was still very good without Kam, and Wagner after but it did lose a step especially against the run.
Still though the impact of Sherman or Thomas being out would be huge as well.

you're right. he needs to publicly address why he replaced Shady with another black running back. Also, why did we sign Maxwell, was Jason Sehorn going to cost too much?

kkkoooper might not make the team this year.. I think the cap hit to cut him goes down considerably after this month..
luckily for him he's good on special teams.. I don't think him and miles Austin both make the team.. but both are looking at the 4-6 WRs spots

I actually don't think chip is racist and shady was dumb but I still have yet to have Chip address why Riley cooper is still on the team and how his culture is unaffected by a racist. The reporters are too scared to ask chip that
Here's my thoughts on Chip. He wants players who line up and do whatever he says. But that's not how the league works. You need players with actual talent and it's the coaches job to deal with differing personalities. Not just ship them off at the first sign of trouble. If Andy and Jeff Laurie would've maybe not been so rigid with TO maybe the Eagles would've actually won something

You mean you want him to follow a receiver all across the field?
Is following the #1 the whole field or just a third of the field? I'm not sure what's hard to understand.
It's doesn't really make that much of difference he's still locking down a side of the field and the offense isn't quite sure what he's doing as oppose to following around a receiver and playing man
The Seahawks style of defense is predicated on playing fast, if you always have one corner in man lock it could be hard for his teammates to know their assignments when the offense shifts/motions or gets in crazy formations

Best pass defense for the last 3 damn years.. Maybe Revis should just lock down a side like sherm. Don't fix what ain't broken..

I don't think I said Sherman would be a bum on a bad defense. I think he's talented as hell, just not the best in the game. You take him out of that pro bowl secondary and put him in a average or below average secondary, he would have a lot more on his plate. I think he would still play well but he would be forced to do so much more.

kkkooper is still on the team because of money.. but that might change before the start of the season, as I mentioned above
eagles don't have talented players on the team?
I could swear we had a couple guys make the pro bowl and all pro teams last year
don't all coaches want this?
he simply wants guys who are going to buy into what he is doing.. guys who have a team first type of attitude.. high character and hard working.. all that jazz
and with TO it was a money issue.. he literally had signed his deal the summer before when he joined the team and wanted a new deal after the super bowl.. and obviously his antics factored in to things

If he had a great system and talent he may just do that. Wouldn't play to his or the team's strengths at this point
