Dummies at my job swear it's Brett Favre. Even made a bet with them, that he won't be in the top 5.


1a. Drew Brees
1b. Peyton Manning
3. Adrian Peterson (who means more the the Vikings than Favre does)
4. Tom Brady
5. Cedric Benson



Sleepers: Ben Rottenberger and...... Darren Sharper

That's risky on the Favre not top 5 bet because the media will for surely give him votes just cuz. And if they go 13-3 or close too, forget it, Joe Buckwill vote 700 times to get Favre in the top 5.

Manning, Brees, and S-Jax as a sympathy vote.

I'm torn between Manning and Brees. Manning has fewer weapons than Brees, but Brees does have that first-time-MVP-potential factor that voters might like.
 
Brees, Peyton, or Favre.
Tony Romo could start getting some consideration too if the cowboys keep playing like they have been lately.

Actually they are a playoff team based off their D alone. Tjack and chester and they still make the playoffs IMO.
 
Amusing how some of you chose to leave off Big Ben as a candidate...Not sayin he's the winner but hes def a top 5 choice........seriously what more mustthe guy do?

Those stats are flawed, they go up by so much that they drop back letting teams get yards in garbage time. Those stats never tell the story, how I measuredefense is on scoring/points allowed. To each their own though, I would say Vikes have the best dline in FB and a top 5 D easy.
 
Rivers will be in the top 5 by the end of the year. Leading that team to the playoffs which has 0 run game and a mediocre defensive.
