Damn man, you are persistent in your Manning love, I'll give you that.
Here, Eli went ON THE ROAD and won at Tampa, at 13-3 Dallas, and at Green Bay, before knocking off the undefeated Pats.
Brady faced Jacksonville at home, the Chargers at home (without a healthy LT and with Rivers playing with a torn ACL if I remember correctly) and then of course the Giants.
Eli had 6 TD's and 1 INT in those playoff games
in 2011 he knocked off Atl at home, beat Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay, and beat the 9ers in San Fran, before beating Tom. Eli, 9 TD's and 1 INT. Had a rating over 103 in 5 of these 8 games.
Brady in 2011? Beat the Tim Tebow led Broncos, and then the Flacco Ravens, both at home, and oh by the way, the Ravens had the game winning TD dropped in the end zone.
So, you tell me. Which path was harder? Eli's path, or Tom's path? Or are you going to argue this point as well?
See the difference is, Tom wins the games he usually should win, give or take a miracle catch here, or a miracle drop there. Peyton? He's 9 and 11. With more one and done's than ANY QB in history, the entire history of the NFL, Peyton one and done's more than any. His OWN BROTHER has more big wins than Peyton. And as I showed, Eli's numbers in those 2 years far outweight all your regular season #'s Peyton puts up.
At some point, you have to just get it thru your skull dude. He's great, one of the 5 best to ever play the game, but I'm sorry, he's a step below a couple guys. He just is. But top 5 is nothing to have his fans go crazy over. Not like we in here putting him at 27 or something. He's top 5, anybody would acknowledge that. And we have. But it's not top 1-2-3 is all. I'd say that's pretty fair on our parts.
I don't think last year's thread even made it to half the amount of pages that this one is at. It's not even week 1.
You are wrong though.... you make every excuse on earth for brady. NO ONE is taking Tom over Peyton if they're drafting qb's. Maybe you but that is about it I'll Take the guy with a ring AND numbers throughout his career, thanks. You shout out Eli on his superbowl but do not say a word about how that super duper elite offense of his scored 14 POINTS. smh. You've gone out of your way to discredit anything Peyton has done, it is clear you can't discuss this without your jimmies being rustled. so we will move on.

I'll take the guy with three rings AND numbers thoughtout his career, thanks. You shout down Eli on his TWO superbowls but do not say a word about how those are more than his brothers in a shorter amount of time. You've gone out of your way to discredit anything Brady has done, it is clear you can't discuss this without your jimmies being rustled. so we will move on.
But hey....

Going from Clady to Webb. I can not believe Webb started for two years on this team.Man I just love the way Cutler throws. Simply love it. He throws a football how a man should throw a football.
i used to like rivers a lot as well. dude was a gutsy ************. ugly *** throwing motion but it worked for him. i thought he was actually underrated for a while (as close as 3 years back), but now i can't really roll with that. he's become a turnover machine as well.
cutler has the ability to get it done. i've questioned his toughness (and looking back, i was wrong). i just don't know though. i can easily see him leading all QBs in turnovers this year. i don't think he has what it takes to get it done. BM is huge for him, but you're going to see him just force ball after ball his way and it will be the reason they don't do **** this year.
gun to head, if i had to pick one for NE, i'm taking cutler and starting mallet
half srs
Man Cutler don't see nobody but Marshall.
And that's why I have him on all of my fantasy squads.
Hope that hip holds up tho
Man Cutler don't see nobody but Marshall.
this is why jay will lead all QBs in INTs this year
he is good, it was on sports talk radio here and on twitter in the past couple days.

You guys really think so? He has been incredibly smart with the ball the last couple years. True he does still throw it where he shouldn't because of that damn overconfidence in his arm, but he has cut down on mistakes considerably.
Bet because I want to see Cutler Do good. He's one of the guys I like in the NFL.
But rather he has a good year or not CHI is not going to make to much noise. The NFC is too strong.
Especially with Juggernauts like the Falcons, Niners and ******** out there.
The bears beat writer had the same prediction. Damn the both of you . Jay scares the crap out of me because i can see him doing very well and i can also see him ******** the bed and throwing the ball terribly.yeah i mean i expect him to throw more this year in the new offense. and if he just locks in on BM all the time, the INTs are going to be up. i dunno. i may very well be wrong but that was one of my predictions for 2013
