NFL Regular Season Thread 2019-2020: The Brazen Bahamian Battles Over Eli’s Legacy Til He’s Blue In The Face

Ummmm.... they are all literally tied with the Pats

Pats are T-27, Eagles are 26...
And so are 4 other teams.

Bengals
Giants
Jets
Rams

With the ******** having the easiest schedule. So the word "next" is incorrect considering theres 6 teams ahead of them, with TWO different winning percentages

no one would argue different. but let's be real, every single year y'all cry about how easy our schedule is. literally every year. whole league is soft, apparently....

Things that always kills me about this narrative is that their record against the rest of the league is actually better in terms of winning percentage than their record against the AFCE

Sure they're not the best a lot of the time but most of y'alls favorite team don't do any better when they match up either
If Josh Allen doesn’t get knocked out of that game against the pats, maybe the bills win? Idk

Josh Allen had thrown 3 picks before getting hurt, him playing the 4th quarter wouldn't have moved the needle half as much as some expect...

Patriots schedule will always be soft as long as the rest of the AFC East is bad.

They're essentially guaranteed a 5-1 or 6-0 record against their divisional opponents.

In this decade alone, the jets, bills and dolphins have a combined 3 playoff appearances. That's a testament to how awful their division is.

spacedoodoo spacedoodoo you better than that, man :lol

he been on that "STEELERS COULD BE 4-1 trip too" :lol

Man it's some teams in the NFC with playoff aspirations with some tough *** schedules coming up:

Bears - Saints, Chargers, @Eagles, Lions @Rams
Eagles - @Vikings - @Cowboys - @Bills - Bears - Patriots - @Seahawks
Cowboys - Eagles - @ Giants - Vikings - @Lions - @Patriots - Bills

I know Rams been suspect lately, but they have an easy schedule coming up that should get them back on track:

NFC North & NFC West some damn gauntlets.

Pissed Bears dropped that game to Oakland. 4-1 is what they needed going into the bye and this stretch.

I know the QB play has been ***, from both Mitch & Chase, but not enough talk is going into seriously how bad this O line has been. Which is strange to me, it's the same ******* guys from last year. Kyle Long is all the way washed. Hope we here he's been benched once they come out the bye.

He threw 3 INT's but yet the bills were only down by 6 heading into 4th Q. The bills were able to move the ball against the defense in the 3rd Q with Allen under center.

He gets knocked out of the game and the offense stagnates with Barkley back there.

I watched that game and the bills had some momentum in the second half, their defense was playing lights out and the offense was still able to move the ball with Allen. With barkley they couldn't sustain drives.

I mean, the Steelers have lost 3 games by a combined 9 points. They haven't exactly had luck on their side the start of this season..

I mean for the most part we know the pats will be there at the end or near it

Of their 6 games to date:
- they have gotten to play 3 of the 4 winless teams

- 1-4 Steelers who could be a lot worse than everyone thought.. and giants last night without a ton of people

then there are the bills who could be a lot a lot better than expected.. but at this moment the pats have 1 less win on the season than those 6 teams combined

Main games I'm worried about for the birds:

Cowboys - divisional games are always tough
Patriots - because...they're the Pats

Not too worried about the Vikings this week. Cook alone not going to win the game for them. Bill offense trash. Bears offense trash (sorry brodie). Seahawks are always hit or miss with us. I could easily see Russ slice up our secondary if we don't make any improvements

af1 1982 af1 1982 yeah our Offense is def trash. Still have to go up against a tough defense tho, so it won't be a cake walk. Bills are tough up in Buffalo with that defense.

It's going to be interesting this second half. Bears have to win next week vs Saints. Chargers I'm not worried about. I'd like to be 2-0 going into Philly.

I want to see how long Akiem Hicks is out. His elbow def popped out of place and apparently they popped it back in place in the blue tent on the sidelines. I think that game goes different if he's playing.

Mitch going to have a month off from when he got hurt til next week. I know he'll be rusty, but he's at his best when they let him get out and use his legs a bit. Time to let him do that a bit.

yea.. ummm our CBs still gotta go against those WRs

neither guy was sustaining drives. allen had one good drive after an entire morning of trash drives. then threw a pick. then got faded into bolivia. barkley pretty much did the same. our defense wasn't going to let us lose that game. not against buffalo's offense that day.

as for the steelers, you right. all close margins. i just wanted to use that meme since i seen it this morning :lol

though the one set for the entire second half was interesting as well. and we actually moved the ball better in that half. hopefully they make that AJ/Eifert thing happen

I def get that but I'm not sure if they're going to full commit to airing it out with Kirk if the run game is stopped.

And a good run game is key to a good passing game. Not saying we're going to completely stop Dalvin Cook but I'm confident that we can contain him like we've done so far this season.

We'll see though. Not going to be an easy game I'm not scared of the vikings like I am of the Pats or even Cowboys
