LMAO at Desean Jackson being "just fast"

Tedd Ginn was just fast hell prolly even faster, he doing what Jacksons doing?

Hester?
DHB?

Just about every team in the NFL has that one "just fast" WR and half of them don't get any PT.

Jackson is not at all "just fast"

true that. Bears got 2 BIG TIME speedsters in Hester/Knox who are as fast or faster than Jackson, and as much as they are both taking strides they are not at the level of Desean Jackson. Show dude some love. However he is still borderline top 10, idk if id put him above anyone in that top 10 list MAYBE Colston or Jennings or maybe Wayne, but i wouldnt say hes definitley better than any of those guys.

Want me to keep going?
My question was simple.. how many receivers have a bigger impact on the game today.. not who you would take over desean if given the choice

1. Randy Moss - I'll give you moss (but who is more important to the pats.. moss or welker.. especially considering the Pats lack of running game and thus need for the safety valve)
2. Andre Johnson - I'll give you dre
3. Calvin Johnson - care to explain
4. Larry Fitzgerald - I'll give you fitz
5. Steve Smith - maybe
6. Reggie Wayne - I didn't ask who you would take over him.. take him off the colts and does that team miss a beat?
7. Greg Jennings - ditto
8. Miles Austin - I'll give you Austin
9. Anquan Boldin - are you just going throw out every big name reciever now?
10. Marques Colston - see wayne and jennings

and yes I would love for you to keep going.. also would love to hear your thoughts on chris johnson

All of the receivers i listed have a bigger impact on the game today IMO.

Calvin Johnson? Do you ever watch this guy play? Dude is a great receiver....just because he is on a bad team does not make him a bad player. If he can stay healthy i guarantee he would put up top 5 league receiving numbers by seasons end. Watch some highlights and you will see what i mean.

Reggie Wayne is consistently solid every year. Yes Manning makes almost every receiver on the team look good, but Wayne is one of Mannings top go to guys for a reason.

Jennings is borderline top 10 for me, i would probably switch him with Hines Ward into the 10-15 mark.

Boldin has been an animal....dude just became the quickest receiver to 600 receptions in NFL history...need i say more?

Ya'll sleeping on Colston dude is legit
laugh.gif

More?
Vincent Jackson
Chad Ochocinco
Roddy White
Hines Ward
Brandon Marshall
Then Jackson....i MIGHT put him in top 15 but that is pushing it. Im curious to know your reasoning why he should be top 10 for what he's doing right now, Eagles pride aside.

Now as far as Chris Johnson goes....dude is probably at the top of the RB game right now. Id give him the edge over AP because for the most part dude can actually hold onto the ball. Yes he is fast which is great, but he also has great sideline to sideline vision, crazy moves, and great body control.

Win I think Top receivers, Desean does not cross my mind as of yet..
Andre Johnson
Calvin Johnson
Larry Fitzgerald
Anquan Boldin
Randy Moss
Ocho Cinco
Brandon Marshall
Steve Smith
Donald Driver * I don't care what nobody says, this dude puts in work EVERY SEASON*
Reggie Wayne

Roddy White
Colston
Greg Jennings

I believe Jackson belongs in the second list of wr's.. I didn't bother going through with that list though, but that should show you were he stands.. He has potential to move up though. Antonio Gates belongs up with the Top 10 too lmao

And the cherry on top of the sundae... Donald freaking Driver over Desean Jackson?

please stop, yall know damm well Jackson isnt a top 10-15 WR, sorry.

when i say fast i mean all his routes are crossing routes or outs that he breaks open down the field, come on.....

duke wont go up and take a football from a defender, once your inside the redzone dudes ghost..... why? because he cant stretch the field...

Jackson is good for what he does, take a 5yrd route, breaks a tackle and outruns everyone....

Ya'll are still hating on DeSean, he proved you all wrong after everyone doubted him in college and in the draft, he'll continue to do the same now.

For the record, I think he's top 10. Donald Driver better than DeSean?

DeSean has great route-running, @ Cal that was what stood out beside his obvious speed...and it's carried on into the pros. A lot of the receivers you guys are listing were great a couple years ago, and they still are good, but if Desean keeps improving he's going to be better than those receivers as they get older and he enters his prime. That's a fact.
