Its time for Bulaga to start playing football in Green Bay. Clifton and Tauscher got abused by just the sight of The Freak lined up across from them last night.

Why would you kick to Hester?

Packers Primetime games are almost always LOADED with penalties... They bailed out Cutler too many times last night

Cant expect a win every time you go into Soldier field... Id put Packers in the top 5 still at this point but its borderline after all the penalties and dumb coaching last night. Why the @@%+ would McCarthy challenge that play and completely waste a vital time out????

There's no inbetween with Eagles fans.  You're either a bum(McNabb last year) or the greatest/best player(DJackson) in the NFL.

I still do not believe the Bears are better then the Packers.

Rodgers out played Cutler and threw for over 300 yards 2 touchdowns.
Rodgers wasnt sacked once.
We were constantly getting at Cutler.
We had more 1st downs
More TOP
over 100 more net yards
Better 3rd down efficiency.

We lost cause of penalties, Punt return for a TD, and a fumble at the end of the game.
PRIME example of beating yourself.

Bears are solid dont get me wrong but they will not beat the Packers or any other good team that way on consistent basis.
Im actually not that upset about the loss, cause all of those 3 things are very fixable. I dont expect to be losing games by Kick returns, penalties, and fumbles all the time.

Other then that...

Peyton Manning is the best QB to ever play the game.
> Favre, Marino, Montana, Elway..etc

I have never seen a guy make this many scrubs into solid football players. And he does it every year.

So Desean isnt a top WR cuz hes mainly a deep threat?? What has Randy Moss been??

Did you really just compare Desean to Randy?

i knew someone would take it that way... no I know Moss is one of the greatest to ever play the game and Deseasn is nowhere near Randy... but his argument was Desean isnt a top receiver cuz he is a great deep threat.... Moss has been a deep threat his whole career and thats it... Just because you arent there catching 10 passes a game doesn't mean you can't be a great receiver... Deseaon got 10tds of 50+ yards in about 2 years... obviously he is doing something right...

Jackson isnt a top 5 or top 10, hes prob a top 15 and thats pushing it....

please name 10 receivers who have a bigger impact on a game than desean jackson today (hell even in the green bay game where he did almost nothing.. on most plays the packers had 3 players on him)

and he is more than a deep threat.. if you would have been watching the eagles (like most eagles fan do) you would realize that not all of desean's touchdowns come on deep routes.. on a number of them he catches it on a crossing route or a WR screen or hell he even had one on a reverse.. he MADE the plays himself to score (also a couple of those TDs are punt returns)

and sidenote.. what's wrong with being just "fast".. chris johnson is undoubtable the 1st or 2nd rated RB in the league and his biggest asset is his....................

this is true. i didnt realize how much that H2H hit effected Cutler's throw until i saw the highlights. initially i felt like he was bailed out, but that hit completely effected the throw. And there is no way around it, that heave to Earl Bennett on the last drive was indeed a bad choice. Not smart throwing into double coverage especially that late in the game, there was more of a chance of an interception there than Earl coming up with it. However if Earl was not being held like he was he forsure could have at least been in position to knock that pass down. He couldnt even get a hand up which is why the safety so easily intercepted the pass. Those 2 penalties indeed did shoot yall in the foot, but in no means were they bad calls.

I could pretty much agree that the 2 plays that Jay really $!@$!$ up on without any penalties were that one awful overthrow that was picked, and the one around that drive in the 1st quarter that was underthrown and looked like a pick but was dropped. Other than that Jay was tough, kept the ball moving, and he made plays. We would not have won that game without Jay Cutler at QB.

There's no inbetween with Eagles fans.  You're either a bum(McNabb last year) or the greatest/best player(DJackson) in the NFL.
i'll admit the majority of fans in the NFL are irrational homers.. but i truly believe most eagles fans deep down know what we had in mcnabb..

and that was the problem.. we had a player who was 33 years old, had his fair share of injuries in each of the last couple of season and was waiting for a contract extension.. i loved mcnabb when he played for us and i do think he won't get his just dues when his career is over (considering the crappy receivers he had to play with most of his time with us)..

but with the youth on the rest of our team.. the time was now to figure out what we had in kolb (or what we didn't have), so that we could plan for the next 10 years of our franchise (and not the next 2 maybe 3 seasons)

Dude it's not even worth the effort. I guarantee if Desean was wearing any other jersey besides an Eagles one NT would praise him. No one cares about the Eagles until we actually beat THEIR team. Anything before that is somehow NOT impressive no matter the circumstances or previous body of work. The Eagles as a whole (besides Mike Vick who yall are forced to at least acknowledge) won't get any praise on here until we get to the tough part of our schedule which is that devil Peyton Manning, the Texans, Vikings and Cowboys late in the season.

I already know how next week is gonna go if we beat the ******** "

Want me to keep going?
My question was simple.. how many receivers have a bigger impact on the game today.. not who you would take over desean if given the choice

1. Randy Moss - I'll give you moss (but who is more important to the pats.. moss or welker.. especially considering the Pats lack of running game and thus need for the safety valve)
2. Andre Johnson - I'll give you dre
3. Calvin Johnson - care to explain
4. Larry Fitzgerald - I'll give you fitz
5. Steve Smith - maybe
6. Reggie Wayne - I didn't ask who you would take over him.. take him off the colts and does that team miss a beat?
7. Greg Jennings - ditto
8. Miles Austin - I'll give you Austin
9. Anquan Boldin - are you just going throw out every big name reciever now?
10. Marques Colston - see wayne and jennings

and yes I would love for you to keep going.. also would love to hear your thoughts on chris johnson

9. Anquan Boldin
10. Marques Colston

Want me to keep going?
My question was simple.. how many receivers have a bigger impact on the game today.. not who you would take over desean if given the choice

1. Randy Moss - I'll give you moss (but who is more important to the pats.. moss or welker.. especially considering the Pats lack of running game and thus need for the safety valve)
2. Andre Johnson - I'll give you dre
3. Calvin Johnson - care to explain
4. Larry Fitzgerald - I'll give you fitz
5. Steve Smith - maybe
6. Reggie Wayne - I didn't ask who you would take over him.. take him off the colts and does that team miss a beat?
7. Greg Jennings - ditto
8. Miles Austin - I'll give you Austin
9. Anquan Boldin - are you just going throw out every big name reciever now?
10. Marques Colston - see wayne and jennings

and yes I would love for you to keep going.. also would love to hear your thoughts on chris johnson

with what QB?
4. Larry Fitzgerald - valid
5. Steve Smith - in years past, but now with his QB situation nope
6. Reggie Wayne - very reliable but like the other dude said, Manning makes no name guys into stars
7. Greg Jennings - no, they are way too deep at WR and TE in Green Bay to defend squarely against him
8. Miles Austin - valid, he's the only one who consistently gets balls thrown his way
9. Anquan Boldin - Ravens are now starting to utilize him
10. Marques Colston - no, Brees spreads the wealth more than anyone. Colston is a great chain moving target but TD threat at any given time, not at all

Want me to keep going?

Either way NONE of us are NFL defensive coordinators so I'm sure you'll say DC's gameplan more against those 10 WR's you listed than Desean and some of us will disagree but in the end who cares, it's all opinion
