Couple THings:
Is nike responsible for the violence that is surely to happen this weekend?? I mean they know these are in high demand, but how much responsiblity to they bear?
These are nice shoes, and I would love to have them. However, it seems like If I even did, HOW/WHy would I even want to wear them??? Especially in any major city, seems like it would be quite personal safety concern and put a target on your chest.
So then why even get them if ya cant even feel safe enough to wear em??? And yes I would wear these, shoes are meant to be worn, sure they look pretty on display but even more so on your foot

The funny thing is, NOBODY has mentioned anything about the quality of the shoe. $220 retail and nobody cares about that.

C'mon now lets be realistic. Most of the people camping don't have anything better to do (ie. School/Job/responsibilities in general) otherwise they wouldn't be doing it. I have a CAREER and I actually took this week off to be with my daughter who has the week off from school. No way in the world would I miss spending time with her to camp for a damn shoe. Furthermore its not about the money, I could spend a stack on them and not be fazed, its the principle. The cost of these shoes have steadily been going up, the quality going down, and nike has been pulling these publicity stunts for far too long. You gotta draw the line somewhere. Be safe out there ya'll Nike don't give a crap about you.

Yea the hype isn't the same but I've worn limited shoes, Kryptonates and eminem 2s without worrying about being robbed. I highly doubt many dudes are going to press you for your shoes. Try you at a meetup or around the corner from the store on release day, yes but at the mall, no.

The bitterness you're speaking to for me is more so about buying/wearing/collecting exclusive sneakers getting to this point. These Foams have almost become like the Air Mags...nice shoe to discuss but so expensive/elusive that people are turned off. It's also being so hyped and manipulated by Nike and retailers that it leaves a bad taste in people's mouths.

Feel the same way.
After hearing that Nike deliberately cut the production to maximize the hype....I was pretty pissed and disappointed.
After they took off their own release online, when they make the damn shoes, i was just straight disgusted.

Heard people are camping in Winston.. Many will be sad once they find out how few pairs HOH got... Be safe everyone. I'm glad I think these are terrible.

Almost everyone who has the shoes right now are resellers. if you want to know the quality check out the red foams or the red foam thread. When they come out ask it again. Until then we get it...

Nike once again like everyone has noted is just killing itself and the game. Who here would pay $800 for these? This is ridiculous. Such a nice shoe and Nike has to cut everybody out of the game. Unbelievable. Blood will be shed on the 25th unfortunately I feel bad for those who will be injured trying to get a pair of these. The game has changed. If people got robbed for Concords.... Co-sign, my sneaker love has definitely started waning during the past year. With most releases I'm starting to question why I do this.
