Some shots I took of my Backdoor pair, last winter.

Yeah, a lot of people hate it, but it doesn't bother me.
It shines SUPER bright, like the 90's, and 2000's.
And that's ALL that matters.

I will admit. I passed on these. Now I wish didn't. The 5 didn't have that feel to me like maybe the 6, 7, so on. The 6 in 91 got me into Jordans. I will have these eventually.

Tongue way thinner on 99/2000. Toebox less rounded more streamlined angled. Feels thinner than any later retros. Durabuck is very similar to the remastered pairs. The tongues flash is unlike any other 5 after it on the 99/2000s like it shines so bright these newer retros are nowhere near it. 99/2000s fit tts. Overall these came super close to to the first retro but certain differences just can't be messed with tbh.

The 2016 pair is so nice, i don’t even care for the 99 at all any more. I know the same won’t be able to be said about the Infrareds

Back when I first got my 2000 retros before I soleswapped them, I snapped this pic of me and my ex at the time and when I say that reflection is far more superior than any other retro...I mean it. Like check it out! They reflect so much it left an after image. This was taken at night. No filter no nothing this was back in 2013 lol I don't own them anymore because they weren't DS so the durabuck was pretty badly damaged but I would definitely repurchase a pair in better condition. That 3m is unmatched

Bought 2 pair of the 2016’s.
Wear one daily for errands, basketball, playground wit my kids, etc.
Still look fairly new.

It needs to be better. Need that molded heel these were supposed to have. It’s more prominent on those. Need the correct ankle pods and tongue height.
