What kind of material is used for that wood-grain-type texture on the upper?

I remember that it was reflective, so maybe a synthetic leather?

I’ll take a look when I get a chance at mine but I want to say it’s something reflective like 3m it never felt like leather to me, more like a plastic fuse or something.

Kobe 5 ASGs were a thick 3M fuse. I doubt the Lebron 7 was that much different. Just fuse over some padding.

It’s been 10 years and they know the LeBrons that are real hitters (7-10 and the 11s for me personally) I love the early models as well, but this model definitely started the hype train.
