Me too. Paid maybe $65 for my pair, I can't quite remember.. I should've doubled up on them in hindsight.Picked these up a couple of years ago from my local outlet. They were $89.99 with an extra 20% off.
Yep! I agree.Me too. Paid maybe $65 for my pair, I can't quite remember.. I should've doubled up on them in hindsight.
Got pics? Sounds like very bad luck, I’ve worn several pairs somewhat frequently for many years and most still almost look new. I’ve probably worn the previous hyper blues retros and sunsets the most and they also look great. I don’t even clean them.this might seem like an awful question but this is my second pair of triple black air max plus from footlocker and both of them havent held up very well the first pair i had fro about for month then the sole on one began to detach at the back and one of the tpu bits at the front began to spring off, i sent them back and got a refund. i bought a new pair just less than three months ago and now ive noticed the mud guard has become detached and the swoosh on the inside of the foot is peeling off, as well as the the front of the sole on the right shoe. i dont know why this keeps happening i take great care of my shoes and wear my air max plus probably three times a week and even then its only for a short distance. im really hoping its just bad luck with adhesive, and if its worth to try and refund them and/or buy a new pair because everything else about the shoe i love. so i guess what im asking is, is this a common problem ?
I've had the front separate on three of mine, and the waves over the toebox come off as well. I just glued em back together and done. I always figured it was due to the outsole not coming all the way around to hold the midsole even better. That, and cheap glue. I, too, had the triple blacks with the same issues after a month. The last ones that came out were garbage.this might seem like an awful question but this is my second pair of triple black air max plus from footlocker and both of them havent held up very well the first pair i had fro about for month then the sole on one began to detach at the back and one of the tpu bits at the front began to spring off, i sent them back and got a refund. i bought a new pair just less than three months ago and now ive noticed the mud guard has become detached and the swoosh on the inside of the foot is peeling off, as well as the the front of the sole on the right shoe. i dont know why this keeps happening i take great care of my shoes and wear my air max plus probably three times a week and even then its only for a short distance. im really hoping its just bad luck with adhesive, and if its worth to try and refund them and/or buy a new pair because everything else about the shoe i love. so i guess what im asking is, is this a common problem ?
