Were the og tongues leather? Not worth trying to wrap your head around Nikes decision making when it comes to proper retros but the material change on this one is weird.

The 2015 release was exactly the same way as well. No official release date, nothing. They just started popping up randomly at stores and online.

Just like the Penny 1 Retro foolishness. Seems like this is the same thing as the Penny's, put out limited numbers, claim they are re-releasing. And all it really is the residual pairs of what they didn't release/produce a few years ago, that they were allotted for, due to the pandemic/shipping issues.

lol i know you're joking but they really arent besides the air chamber. still got the leather tongue and the nike air on the heel is still a white sticker. supposed to be all black with embossed nike air like the husrache trainers its supposed to look like thisFor anyone new here, the 2023 is in no way better than or closer to the OG than previous releases. These are a step in the wrong direction and you should skip them.
