the soles look bigger then the upper shoe lol.
no air bubble on the tongue.
sole bubble is awful
the back of the shoe looks mad thin, the nike tag on the back should be in a down position.
just a few of many flaws, you paid like 320 for these? when you try them on let me know the comfort rate. Expect a green volt cw of these like they do every shoe lol.

an awful lot of corner cutting has been done on these, if that pair is what the final product is like. would love a pic of the insides/insole, I bet some padding is missing in there too.
most noticeable is the missing swoosh on the upper on the instep, and the seeming lack of real carbon fiber on the midsole. the carbon fiber on the sole is missing completely, and the bit on the midsole is prolly just a plastic pattern like the Griffey max 2 retro was. its hard to tell from the pics, but it looks like the reflective grey bits on the toe aren't there either, but instead replaced with a flat grey material. they look about as faithful to the og's as any other retro tho.

They do reflect on the gray piping around the toes and following along the shoe. Just by an up close in person survey I can tel these are a WIP sample. I've had a few samples over time and these may have been the least finished pair I've seen. Don't get me wrong, they are absolute beastly in person and are a sure neck breaker but you can see the design team will touch up areas that need the improvement.

I agree the retro game has been a Rollercoaster of emotions for most of us lol. I'm just happy that I can finally cop pairs I missed out on as a youth, even though they usually mangle the final designs.

Not sure, but I have heard absolutely zero about them anywhere. Which usually indicates a delay or drop. Hopefully not though. I still have the samples, and it's nice to look at the design from time to time. Beautiful shoe.

No new retro pics of streaks? No retro pics of the muscle max? I got the muscle max and I sole swapped with some nike air force shoes, the ones that look like they got the jordan 3 soles.. and my muscle max came out looking good.

ppl slept on the muscle max that was on ebay cause of the busted air bubble but the shoe was 9/10 condition minus the sole. if they dont retro them properly im cool with the og's i got with the sole swap

I just blew out the air bubble on my right shoe. Serves me right for putting 16+ year old shoes into daily rotation. So now, I reallllly need these to retro! Anyone heard any news?
