That is exactly why I am avoiding some colors of VM.My two favorite colors... 1 because I have them in my collection and 2 the sole won't go piss yellow on $200 shoes...
Can't wait to earn my piss.
[emoji]128514[/emoji] people still afraid of yellowing...
Sure am... And proud of it... If I'm going to spend that then I don't want my soles to look like my 2 year old son had a accident on them multiple times...[emoji]128514[/emoji] people still afraid of yellowing...

I've worn mine for 3 weeks in a row including a couple times in downtown Chicago, and they haven't yellowed at all (asphalts). If you didn't look at the bottom, they still look DS
yeah its kind of immature, especially if you're over the age of 21[emoji]128514[/emoji] people still afraid of yellowing...

Apologies if you took what I said the wrong way. I'm just practical, I'll go and spend $500 on a set of tires for my car and whenever the tread starts getting worse I just go get them replaced. Same with shoes. If they yellow they yellow. Its like Taxes and death. Somethings are just promised to happen.Yeah, being concerned about getting value for your money is immature .
Cant believe theres so much hate for Asphalts. I feel they're one of the best colorways to me. Cant get down with same colored air bags, swoosh and upper like the cool greys but I guess monochrone has been the new wave.

I don't think that anyone is tripping over any preferring dark soles over clear ones. Just having dialouge about having 'concerns' about clear outsoles yellowing. Really isn't a big ole deal.
A broski only said he wants to buy dark vapor units so HE doesn't have to worry about them yellowing.
Why are you guys all hot and bothered over that statement?
What's wrong with my shoes?I'm "Hot" and "Bothered"! hy Why does his shoe look like that!?:x
Exactly... That's why "I" don't buy clear sole shoes for that exact reason... I know there going to yellow so I don't waste my money on them... Just my preference..I'm all about making sure you get your money's worth. But they're shoes. What do you expect when you have a clear bubble making contact with the ground. It's like expecting my wheels to not get covered in brake dust
If people use them for what they're meant for, to wear, they don't yellow as bad or deteriorate as quick. Use them or lose them. I've found that wearing them seems to slow down decomposition of the materials. I have air max 95s that are from 1998 that I still wear (bubbles somewhat clouded). Some pairs from 2007 that sat in my closet are turning to cookie crumbs.

Since we're talking about soles, still trying to see if I can have several folks check their soles and give some feedback. The gap on my NLs between the right and left shoe is wider. Shoes feel fine, seem to function fine, just curious if multiple folks have the same gap difference or if this would/could be a defect?
Have only seen 1 or 2 people so far respond, would be good to see some more replies from those who have some in-hand.
