Nike Air VaporMax

Well, I wanted to throw this in. A surprisingly big turnout (at least it was surprising for me) as 5-10 minutes before doors opened, the line ran pretty far deep. Had no clue since I was one of the first few in line and got there really early as I was paranoid as hell about missing out. Regardless, I was able to get my pair, and this colorway is just very nice and pure. I'm not an original Air Max collector since I've only followed Air Maxes since the Air Max 2003 back in... well, 2003, and just watched the line grow ever since. I didn't get to own a pair of Air Max running shoes 'til the Hyperfuse was introduced to the model in the Air Max 2011. I've had the 2012s, and liked the improved bag in the 2013 version with the flexible Air unit. Ever since then, there wasn't anything new going for me that got me wanting a new pair. The uppers changed, but the Air unit stayed the same. Seeing the unveiling of the shoe back in March 2016, it was THE shoe I was ready for before any other ones... now I'm glad it's here.

I'm not here to talk about cushion comparison. I'll just say it once more that this is the next generation of visible Air that I (and others, I'm sure) have been finally looking for.

You should've picked up the black

Me? I would if I could've, but my only chance of getting them was online through Blends. I would've had a chance with 1st OG and TGWO, but I totally underestimated the attention it got... plus, I wanted to sleep, too. :lol

Yea this weekend been crazy, I need some sleep myself :lol

I don't see the appeal of the all black. When I get a pair of these I want it to be known and clearly seen that I'm on all bubble.

I feel bad admitting but i picked up both 9.5 in OG and Pure Platinum because i couldn't decide which color I wanted and they just had ppl in the cashier line to buy as first come first serve at Nike SF. I didn't want ppl to wait behind me so i just bought the two limit. I'll probably return one back in "new condition" but can Nike re-sell it if i don't wear it and return one of them? I would feel bad if they couldn't lol.

Why did the men's OG only go up to size 12? I kept hearing people say the the red OG was a women's model, but I found it in men's sizes, but only up to size 12,why?

Early reports were that the OG colorway would be a women's only colorway. They ended up releasing men's and women's. Unfortunately for our big-footed brethren Nike has a habit of cutting off limited styles at sz 12.

Pure plat is So dope.

I'm actually glad I struck out on all those AM1s. I try not buy more than 1 pair/month and these were always priority 1.
