Y’all know Nordstrom my fav store... so weird they randomly drop the Platinum and I picked it up (they got some left online). It just arrived direct from Nike. First time I’ve seen that happen.
Gonna order 12.5 from now on. 13 feels a bit big.

For the first time I can remember my wife comments “those are nice”. I’m irate. I wear all this Vapormax heat and she likes this random 2020 navy colorway. She comments how colorful they are. I almost didn’t want to pay for breakfast lmfao.

Okay so an update. I’ve worn them all day yesterday and ran on the treadmill for 20 minutes today...
!!Warning on the FLYEASE Pager!!
So yesterday I noticed the left stayed pretty tight and the right side I kept having to pull tight. It kept getting loose. But it’s not a defect it was me.
When you pull the loops to release the Flyease to take the shoes off it does take a good pull and you hear a “click” sound that it has released. Now the thing is if you pull hard and not straight the loop can slide out of where it should be. It should be centered to work properly. I pulled hard and to the side and it then doesn’t lock correctly as the loop is out of its place.
You can see below the left shoe is correct but the right shoe the release pull is not centered into the fly ease pager. This is incorrect. You got to pull the release tab and center it. Otherwise after about two minutes it gets
pulled tight in correctly. Again you are the left side release tab is center but the right side is off
tight and correct. After ten minutes it didn’t move at all and stayed tight.
So having learned this I can only imagine how many other people this will happen to.

I wore my usual thin socks yesterday and then I wore thicker socks today. To my shock I prefer the thicker socks with this shoe. It feels better and when you lock the shoe it conforms tighter. I noticed an obvious difference. Now I got to buy more thick socks. As we all know thin socks or no socks is perfect for the previous versions.
Next is to try a 12.5 as I’m really curious if this is truly a half size down shoe.
Also IMO this shoe feels more like a soccer cleet on normal pavement. It feels sturdier and not as cushy as before and even sounds like a cleet on hard surfaces. It’s not a deal breaker and I’m going to break these navy ones in over the next two weeks to provide more feedback.
