I wonder how many people will be retuning these in used condition back to NDC before the 30 day testing/trial limit.

I cant see too well but cant you just scrape off/sand the excess rubber that peels?Thought I'd share. Close to 10 miles in running (20-25 miles combined if considering all the walking I do in these), and this is how the shoes' soles are looking so far. SPOILER ALERT: it ain't pretty.
It's taken 6.5 miles on dry surfaces, and another 3.25 in wet surfaces (rained overnight and again right after I finished running.) It's also fogging up, too, if you take a look at the airbags.

You see the very toned brown-green color of one of the rubber traction pods on the sole? That's actually all the rubber dragged up to the edge. It's a high-wear zone as predicted by Nike when they were testing it, and it's flattening and roll its way up to the edges.
The upper though? Still looks perfectly fine! I changed the laces before the 3rd run, so it's not the original laces on there.

The testing continues! I won't be the only one reviewing these; someone else here said he's also just purely running in these, so be on the lookout for his thoughts and opinions, too, as he'll have lots of mileage on it while I'll simply have "some mileage" on 'em.
Apologies for my dog's rear being in some of the pictures

How are those little teeths, do they also get a lot of wear and tear or arr they holding up?
I dont mind the yellowing at all, its epexcted with clear soles. Im sure some Sea Glow can probably clean them a bit.
I did. No point in keeping something that you aren't completely satisfied with, not for $200 right? I had a 12.5 with thumb width room in the front but they still had some soreness. I'll wait on a another color way and try a 13 like some have recommended. I think that may be too long in the toe box, but I'll see.

These definitely aren't my primary daily trainers but it's real nice to have a shoe you can wear casually and that performs acceptably well (FKRs are still unbeatable in this category IMOSo I will be serious here and say I didn't think people were actually going to run in these. I never even thought about running in these.
There are too many REAL running shoes to really consider these.
But thanks for the details. Very good info if someone else is planning to run in them.

I try to avoid the subway on the weekends.^ damn, where are you walking?
I walk 6 miles a day, I'm right there with you - on your favorites. Free Motion FK RN, Lunarepic high flyknit, racers and to a degree the zoom allout highs are the shoes that I do my walking in every day. In limited capacity the Vapormax feels as good (the flyknit support is still my favorite) but the cushioning isn't tuned for sustained high-impact walking....at least not like the lunarlon or free soles. I think they're aesthetically 1 or 2 (depending on the racer weave), but they're not quite the go the distance, every situation pair, I was thinking they would be.I did a fair amount of walking in my Platinums today. They definitely feel better and more normal the more I break them in. However, I don't think they quite live up to my expectations. I was hoping for the Vapormax to be like the one shoe I might take on vacation with me--lightweight, comfortable, good for a lot of walking and some short 3- to 5-mile runs, and stylish enough to wear with jeans. The Vapormaxes don't hurt my feet but their also not as comfortable as I had hoped. Within the Nike lineup, the shoes that seem to come closest to what I'm looking for are the Free RN, Flyknit Racers, and the Lunar Epic Flyknit, all of which I own. Am I missing something here?
Co-sign on that. Same experience for me but with sizes 11 / 11.5 / 12. I ended up sticking with my go to 11.5 size for these. The 12 were too long for me and the 11 was too tight. I felt like goldilocks finding the right fit.
I need those Lavender's!! I'm a size 14 in Women's. Say a prayer for them to release that high (Or just do a mens run)Nike not playing around with vapormax. New cw women and men

Whats your quick impression of the shoe? Everything you thought it was? Scale of 1-10?Just one last update before I post a review either next weekend or the weekend after, but I'm up to near 16 miles now and counting. Today's run was actually an unexpected longer-distance run (5.3 miles, 6 if we're including the warm-up jog to the starting point), and there'll be a review on how the shoe performed for distance. I'm honestly not sure whether a potential total of 27-28 miles is enough to warrant a review for next weekend compared to about nearly 40 on the weekend after, but either way, I cannot wait to provide you guys my thoughts!
In the meantime, Nike has to stop rolling out dope colorways... I don't know how I will save up with this **** happening.
