Someone local turned down a pair of Solars for RO...

I hope these go down in price, and have the same mf's turning down my $$ asking if i still want them...

Just goes to show the lames who bought them straight to flip, broke boys gon be broke boys

side note: next time i'll include the rest of them... 8)

i mean, its some high expectations to hope celebs clean flight club out for 6K a pop. yes, they can certainly afford it but that doesn't mean they will clean them out.

This.

And to be honest, the only ones thinking these will stay at 6k are the ones thinking they will make that killing. Shoes aren't worth anything near that. The previous high was what 5k for the solars and these def aren't better than those.

This.

i look at it this way. the only solars selling for 5 grand are the ones in Flight Club. They have direct access to celebrities with that type of expendable cash and they still sit. Also you have to keep in mind that when the solars and plats dropped people had NO IDEA they would fetch resell prices over 2 grand. so a lot of people wore them. with the reds. so many people saw the prices of the solars and plats so 90% of whoever has a pair will not wear them and most likely sell, thus flooding the market. think of how many DS pairs of Reds compared to solars there will be in a year. thats how im foreseeing future prices.

This.

some will absoultely sale for that price.. due to the vail around the release and the  surprise nature, celebs, athletes, etc... will be looking to land a pair, most will turn to FC and other reputable consignment shops to pick up there pair... but if 1500-2000 were truly released...  its not that many people that can swing 6k for sneakers

And this.

And bigj is someone who has a pair and plans to sell. Lol.

He's just being logical.

How about I just quote all of you saying prices will stay at $6K in a couple to few weeks and we'll see who was right and who was wrong.

I've been doing this a long time, have a thorough collection, a good portion of which I paid resell for, I just timed it right and got them for the best resell price possible. I know what I'm talking about a tad bit.

no one trading RO'S for another yeezy. they trying to sell for 6k+ and cop a yeezy for 1.5-4k. i bet someone here would take vnds plats and solars once they have the 6k in they hands to keep a profit.

Then you'd lose your RO's, chief.

Cuz had I scored them, I wouldn't be looking to sell, I'd be keeping them and wearing them, so I have no reason to wish for them to be worth that much.

I'm just using basic logic. These could be had for $4K b4 they even released (legit, stolen pairs from the warehouse), and it was looking like they never would release, which is why people were paying that.

If they never released, sure, $6K seemed right. But with thousands of pairs released (yes, credible sources are saying these released in the same numbers solars and plats did, don't listen to that troll, urbetterthanme, that used to go by "mogulson"), and they're all hitting the market at the same time, while the hype is out of control, that don't mean every pair is gonna fetch $6K +...

This happens on every hype release. Initially the hype is the most high it's gonna get, and ballers and idiots shell out way more than they should so they can get them quick and easy. But after a bit, the price ALWAYS comes down from there. Way more pairs are gonna hit the market in the coming days and weeks. And then prices go back up later when less pairs are on the market.

Again, I've watched these go for the lower 3's the last 2 days.

Since when is FC a good place to gauge prices by?

You cats who feel like you won the lottery on these just want to reference FC cuz you want the maximum amount you can get. But usually, when you're looking for a shoe, or even selling other shoes, you'd never reference FC for a proper price check on a shoe.

The amount of suckers, celebs, and ballers who will shell out that much to FC isn't as big as you think. If FC gets too many pair of these (which it's looking like they will, cuz people are scared to sell themselves), I'd be willing to bet sellers will get told later that they're lowering the price.

I personally wouldn't even sell at FC now after hearing about getting back creased shoes that didn't sell, cuz they were letting people try them on. That's CRAY, especially since the mesh on these looks terrible and is very noticeable once creased.
Dude this couldve been summarized in two sentences its not that deep

The reality is the dudes who are selling them are hoping prices stay at 6k and the dudes who want them are hoping they drop in price

With some of QC flaws with RO  Im sure prices will have a wide range but honestly hope they sell for 10K then some of you will realize there just shoes and stop buying into the hype of a shoe

this right here.... the masses who copped thinking they hit the lottery to make a 6000+ come up will be in for a rude awakening IMO. It's already insane people are offering up 3,000 for these and being shot down. Wait until everybody who copped receives their pairs and puts them out on the market for sale. I'm going to kick back for a month or 2 and wait for the prices to come down.
exactly the prices will come down in about 2/3 month when the market will be flooded with fakes and 80% of the legit pairs from NDC .And believe me its not that easy to sell a yeezy on ebay with all the low ballers, flakers and ghost bidders .the ones who gonna cash up are the ones who are selling them the first 2 month , then prices will comes down for sure , then come back up suddenly when alot of pairs will be unds and it will become hard to get legit DS pairs for sale.

I remember having hard times trying to sell DS plats size 13 for 1800 during 2/3 month and and DS plats size 11.5  (rare sizes) for 1600 when the market was flooded with fakes , Im pretty sure we will find RO's under 2k during a short period befor the summer

anyone here else feel like solars>RO?

Without a doubt ...
and I'm not just saying that because it's the only cw I own

Who am i kidding I want a pair of ROs so bad :smh:

Yeah, but I was trying to elaborate on the details so people would understand, instead of throwing around falsehoods to support their theories.

While it's in my best interest for the value of these to drop, I'm not one to lie to myself just cuz I want something to be true.

The fact is it makes no sense for all these pairs to sell for $6K+...

Just not gonna happen.

What dude said earlier is an excellent point, a lot more of these are being sold on the resell market than the solars and plats. Because there was a head's up on that release, a lot more people who wanted the shoe to keep and wear were able to get them... The way these RO's released actually landed them into the hands of WAY more resellers (the last Yeezy release had no bots yet either, btw). So WAY more pairs are about to be on the market.

The funny this is, the majority of solars and plats were sold by boutiques for way more than retail. I'd say the average price just to get them out the door at those spots was $1,500. So resell prices were big out the gate just cuz it cost them so much to even get them.

ALL of these RO's were had for retail. Every single pair officially released only cost $245... And cats come out the gate charging $6K...

The way Nike released these was the biggest slap in the face to the actual fans of the sneaker. All they did was hand a bunch of people who don't even care about the shoe thousands of dollars... The people who've always loved the shoe and wanted to actually wear them are screwed. But I suppose had they released them online with a head's up, bots woulda got em all. The only fair way woulda been some FCFS, no bots to RSVP, no nothing. But that woulda resulted in madness, probably violence, and woulda still slapped those of us in the face who can't afford to camp for days and weeks.

Just a nightmare all around for those of us who just want to wear the damn shoe. :smh:

people surprised about the color of these compared to pics reminds me of the motorboat jones release aka infrared 9s.

this resell value talk is funny. imho i think realistically these will settle fluctuate 2-3k after a few months for local cash sales. its like stock market, its anyones guess.  FC is a consignment store not a price guide. if you decide to send you're shoes there great but otherwise demographics makes a huge difference in price.

ppl thinking really limited + hyped + popular model and colorway = resell start high and decline over time   example: every hyped/limited shoe released the past 6 year

ppl under estimating how limited + all the above = start high but climb much higher   perfect recent example kobe prelude 1s db5s

this is the current state of the market so things may change depending on how nike markets

when adidas kanyes drop then interest goes back up on yeezys and price rises.

shoes will sell a bit higher in NY,Cali, FL compared to everywhere else hence FC has a location in NY and LA.

Ive never put shoes thru flightclub but most consignment shops charge you if you take your shoes back before a predermined time period so keep that in mind.

hope this helps some of the new folks and a few older ones understand this non sense.
