Yes everyone who gets hired get

2 staff dress shirts (Most of the time its a selected)

2 bottoms

1 pair of shoes 84.99 /89.99 or less.

Then Every 6 months after.

for example if you got hired in may and you get the full package and the older staff gets it in July. you wouldnt get 2 full packages you would wait. you have to wait till the next comp. season (basically 6 months from when the Seasoned staff gets it)

Paperwork and just getting the hang of things.

With me it was a full week (couple days paper work, getting the hang of things, history and heritage etc) you should also get a product knowledge class later down the line.

Just accepted the job offer today. Excited to get started. I've worked with the general public for years. I've done retail in the past to. I'm generally a good people person. Gonna be a new location in SoCal.

Zombifed Nach0 thanks for answering that question. I was just about to ask do they provide anything to wear to start or did we pay out of our own pocket. Thanks. Repped

Lemme guess Long Beach

What's best place in California to get release day shoes without being sold out same day? I been to Nike outlet in Ontario and the other one towards Penchenga Casino and also the other one off the 5 freeway. Is there a lowkey shoe spot in Los Angeles?

Most likely The Grove

Do you get this at training camp or when you go for orientation/paperwork?? I'm asking because tomorrow I go in to do paperwork and I was told via phone call and a email to dress Nike Casual. I'm planning on going with the Nike tee, Jeans and some draft day Kobe V. Just curious if I could wear some Nike sweats/joggers.

Can anyone shed light on this?
You're overthinking it. Just wear whatever :lol you'll probably just watch a video after you sign paperwork. I think they gave us a tour of the store and that was about it. Training camp is later.

The Grove needs to stop playing and give me a call back lol I had to reapply twice because they said their systems were being weird because of the new store being built..right

Nike is throwing a wrench in Swoosh.com discounts.

With their new online raffle system, Swoosh accounts arent eligible to enter because they dont include Nike+, which is required.

So pretty much, folks with employee discount access wont be able to get it on anything they decide to do a raffle on. :{ :{ :{ :{ Turrible.

@pacmagic ... But you get the deep disco on the restocks and of course for those not picked up. nike is still not doing a second chance option so any unpicked up pears go back to corp and funneled through the employee store/swoosh system. You get to enter and if you don't hit have a sort of second option for those pairs that filter back.

Employee store stock isnt available via swoosh, unless there is something i dont know about.

Swoosh.com is simply Nike.com with a different login path and discounted prices. Same stock availability and all. All they do is put a slash through whatever the retail or current price is and put the 40% off price right next to it.

Closest nike store with new releases to me is in Chicago and the Employee store in Memphis, both about 4.5 hours away.

I dont really care about the jordan releases........its the Nike Sportswear/Lebron/Kobe releases that im worried about.

Management is pushing me to become a full timer. I was wondering if anyone knew the pay difference.

I got a raise when the year ended but I'm still PTU. I know they give benefits and all but doesn't that deduct from our paycheck?

There is no difference in pay between being full time or part time. Unless.your getting a promotion.
Only diff would be you working more hours so therefore getting paid more.

If you sign up for benefits, yes they will be deducted from your paychecks

Yes you're right. I was looking on ig and saw that people were getting bhm kd's from the ES which is not on swoosh

ES just started to stock retro J's and NDC leftovers (%50 for employee and family members and full price on the retros j's for venders[whitebadge]/passes). And no more wasting a thursday wristbanding for a saturday J release! just saturday walk-in p/u!

I thought there is 3 ES?

This is untrue. There is a difference in pay at each "level". So yes a full-time Athlete gets paid more than PT under and over. Also, yes they get access to benefits, employee stock purchase plan, 401K, PTO. The first WOULD deduct from your check. Also the pay depends on your experience, state, etc. don't be afraid to negotiate.

Hi everyone. I just had my 2nd interview for Nike Monday and they told us that they will get back with us later this week via email. It's been three days and I haven't received anything. Should I be worried?

Yes ... And no. Give the full week then if no email reach out to the store contact they gave you (and if s/he is difficult to catch up with reach out to your recruiter).
