Except they’re not Kobe’s, Jordan retries, On or New Balance.

They don’t really sell out. And there’s not really any hype or major interest besides the normal social media news cycle when LeBron wears a new pair. I’m sure they’re fine shoes but they definitely lost the plot. They’ve made three good shoes in a row but have been uninspired in the colorways.

Public Enemy nailed it. Keeps you at the edge of desire. New Jordan sig's barely get retro style color ways and this LeBron line barely gets what the mass consumer wants. What does that mean.... Leave room in the future to want it more. We won't see a bred colorway of the AJ34's or a retro LBJ signature Lakers colorway until maybe year 2040 or beyond.

As long as Grape 5's, bred 4's, bred 11's, chitown 1's, blk cement 3's, & etc continue to never sit on the shelf, then there's no need to even focus on what we actually want.
