i deleted mine because it didn't show the price. didn't know they were still available to buy. i think if he tried to check out with his pair it wouldn't go through. hopefully they bring it back with a upper heel cap option. id pay an extra 10 dollars to customize that.

Slightly concerned about the durability of the unreinforced center portion of the React outsole, but the Nike reps have assured me I have nothing to worry about.

You don't have to worry about wear... my OG pair have plenty of running miles on them. The exposed midsole gets lots of small cuts and tears, and small bits of rock and dirt get pressed into the foam... but, it doesn't seem to wear down any. My biggest complaint is the exposed midsole foam tends to hydroplane when there is a thin layer of water on the sidewalk/path/road, so be careful of morning dew, lawn sprinklers and light rain.

Overall pretty pleased with the results. Will definitely cop more if they are $20 less and will be calling to see about a discount code if they do. Looking at the samples mine almost matches Nike’s but I’m not really feeling the contrasting heel clip color.

it’s like a gradient fade from darker to light color... The heel on my racer blue ids, is navy blue.

The heel cup matches the lace reinforcements. Different shade than the flyknit for sure.

The gold seems pretty substantial. I'd actually be surprised if it chipped easily.
