Back with another Infinity Run accolades post...

1. +800mi
2. Staying sub 8min/mi past 5K
3. Black Level in NRC (I thought they still gave awards and discounts when you hit levels but I guess that stopped, whack).

The Infinity Run has probably been one of my favorites to run in, truly a workhorse. I ordered the Tempo Next % which should be here tomorrow. Wondering how my recent gains in the Infinity Run will translate :emoji_fearful:

Why can't Nike do more of this? Update their classics with react and not completely destroy classic silhouettes

I think pretty much every company should do this. Most non-running shoes before about 88-89 feel like absolute garbage. Puma is especially guilty of currently distributing like 20 different different models that are just a rubber cupsole with a thin liner inside.

Also, have you tried the Bruin React? I've been considering getting it as a cheaper version of the Metcon React.

Bruin Reacts are fairly comfy, but a bit narrow (I have slightly wider feet). I went .5 up and still snug for me but if you have normal to narrow feet you can stay TTS

800 on that single pair? If so that’s crazy. I have 225-250ish on mine and I feel like they’re done. Great shoe overall but the heel slip is terrible and the lockdown isn’t very good

Just swooped a pair of Nike Epic React 2's from my local Marhsalls for $30!!!

Steal! What cw?

I just scooped up a White/Black cw for $50 from Ross. Planning on scooping up several as donors for future swaps. I need to use up all my Flyknit uppers, so I could transition into AM swaps.

collecting 800+ miles on a single pair of shoes is hella impressive (shoot 800 miles itself is impressive!) most nikes im able to get about 450-500 before they’re toast and no longer supportive. probably because i over pronate pretty badly
