Rafa's look a bit chunky...

Vapor VI weigh about 15 oz, which isn't that bad I suppose... the Vapor V's were around 16 oz

Ballistec 1.3 weigh about 17.5 oz... Cage II's were 16.2 oz...

EDIT - BTW, for Fed fans, the white Vapor VI retail version will come with the 'RF' logo embroidered on the heel... not on the black ones...

Rafa tries on a different colorway... white/volt� > black/volt IMO... the white/volts are almost reminiscent of the sonic yellow ATC III's...

The white Vapor VI looks super clean. Love the flywire design, guess it's gonna be the theme of 09 for Nike. They should make a Wimbledon colour for VaporVI as well.

Waiting to see what kinda fashion statement Federer is gonna make this year at Wimbledon

The Federer shoe is sweet, caught a glimpse of it from a Nike rep at the US Open in 08. Actually saw Roger testing a pair out of the practice court.

Weren't those RF's favorites, even when the Vapor III was out? I think they came out with the Zoom Drives, and they look like the Tennis brother of theZoom Drive.

Yeah, I was wondering why they dropped the Cage style... Nike Tennis seemed to have been doing pretty well with it... first the Breathe Free line (which waslike a first-gen Cage), then the official Cage series... The Breathe Free II's, after 4+ years, are still a very popular tennis shoe...

Personally, I never really liked the Vapor Speeds (didn't even know if was Fed's favs)... But will they retro them? Doubt it... Nike rarely retrotheir tennis shoes (ATC's don't count)

Only the Ballistec's come with the 6-month outsole guarantee... correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the Vapors ever offered that. In thepast its always been the Breathe Frees, the Cages, and now the Ballistecs. Basically, Rafa's kicks...

Those Zoom Vapor VI's very clean, but the price tag is $15-$20 too high.

Love the Courtballistec 1.3 Agassi colorway Nadal was trying in the video! I heard Nadal won't be playing in sleeveless shirts this year since theydon't sell well. Looks like he may also be done with the Capri pants thankfully. Bring back the acid wash jeans with spandex!

anyway, you're right... it does appear that Rafa will be donning some sleeves and some 'shorter' shorts this season...
here's what he wore at Doha last week... still wearing the Cage II's though, but the outfit (but not necessarily this colorway) will likely be worn atthe Aussie Open...
