Nike Trainer 1.3 Mid / Max / Low

Sneakernews picked up on a fall 2011 trainer 1.3 MAX (360 outsole):
http://sneakernews.com/20...ainer-1-3-max-fall-2011/
Just a drawing right now, some elements that stick out:
-The whole shoe looks more sleek and pointy. Most drawings tend to do that and they go for a more boxy look when the final product is seen
-Air Max 93 like sock liner?
-Behind the swoosh, there is actually something going on behind it
-Toebox seems to have some layers that work with the forefoot layering
-Cut of the shoe looks like it's more of a low now. Basically like any other RUNNING shoe out there.
-Are these running shoes or training shoes? Without a forefoot strap and the height of the shoe, that's okay. But now, no outrigger for lateral support? Why should I cross train in these vs. asics running shoes? I really cannot tell the difference right now

Overall, these are 10 times better than the normal TR1.3. But still probably a pass. I like some of the other running 360 outsoled shoes much better than these. Can any designers provide me with cues as to why or how I wouldn't get hurt playing basketball in these?

A quick PSA and warning for you all:

Apparently the Fall 2011 Trainer 1.3 MAX 360 has "released". But not in your typical fashion. They are all over fake shoe websites. Fall 2011 usually designates a release starting in July. So they are a solid 2 months ahead of schedule.. Style codes don't add up and only one of the colors looks to be a launch colorway. One of these pairs may be on ebay. Just be careful. 2009 tr1s had fakes but they never really made it to the mainstream outlets, and those didn't seem to release early. These are releasing early and seem to be everywhere. Check your favorite fake shoe website. It's bound to be there.

This is a cross training milestone and in the worst way unfortunately. I would have to admit. I would buy a fake pair for $30 bucks

Edit: Some photos of these "trainer 1.3 max" shoes..

The style codes make zero sense and the production date on almost all of them are the same exact start and end dates. But they look like top notch reproductions. I'm confused. I hate posting up fakes but maybe they aren't. I guess i'll let you decide.

Frighteningly the only thing that appeals to me may be those potential fakes

So we all know about the manny p LE... Now nicekicks has a photo up of Wale in a MLB tr 1.3 360s

SOme colorways definitely go harder than others.

Expect the tr1.3 mid and tr 1.3 max in some crazy limited colorways in the near future

With some good c/w's, yeah, maybe it might work, but the bottomline is the shoe... design just doesn't work... ehhh.

Agreed SinnerP.  However, whats amazing to me is how many people beasted over these with the Manny 1.3.  I don't know if anyone is paying it, but they are listing north of 350.00 on Feebay and they were gone in a second when they dropped.  If that is any indication, the same will hold true with these Limited MLB ASG joints as well. Anything with a 360 air bag and a limited tag along with something halfway marketable on it seems to do very well these days.

I sniffed at the chance for some TR1s and ultimately didnt buy. The tr1.2s didnt turn out half bad (with $60 dollar price point in mind).. These however remind me of a department store generic Nike we all saw as kids. The pairs you didnt want to be seen in
360 outsole
Premium materials
Limited label
PE c/w theme

May be the only way to go with these.
