It's actually the first version of flywire...so plastic...and around the toe area is synthetic....Fuse didn't technically come out until summer 2010 with the introduction of the Hyperfuses.

Granted I only played once it was pretty **** on dusty court - had to wipe more than usual. PG2, kobe 9 or kyrie 4 held up solid with minimal wiping on that court. Similar experience to harden 3 (which also has herringbone) but better than AJ 32
