Hey guys. I'm new to the Nintendo handheld family. Just got one today. Haven't owned a Nintendo product since like Nintendo 64. What are some do's and donts? Does Nintendo have something similar to to PS+/XboxLive for demos or free titles? Recommended games? Not into games like Fire Emblem, had to look that up after I was told it was good but it doesn't interest me. Sorry for all the questions but I'm a noob.

You make a nintendo network ID...and yeah there's a eshop where you can download full games and demos

Played smash at my friends house a few weeks back and it was awesome. Never really played the original but I did enjoy the WiiU version. Might be my next pick up for 3DS.

Man, Megaman is light weight a beast in this game in SSB.

I just started playing again with fox and I been getting my butt whooped all over the place. Have any of yall had any real success using him. His moves are just not powerful enough and have too much lag.

Who are y'all using?

Mm is a beast
Fox is kinda weak don't use him much

Do: acquire a wii u pro controller, purchase wii games/wii remote plus

Dont: buy any third party game

optional: 

• create a club nintendo account(nintendo rewards program)

Nintendo doesn't give out any free titles. All demos have a trial limit, but it's reasonable.

recommended games:

Pretty much every nintendo exclusive except hyrule warriors. That game is garbage.

I'm picking up Sapphire from a friend for $20 tomorrow. And Kingdom Hearts 3D off a trade. Forgot I had over 100+ coins on 99Gamers and went on and bought Mario Tennis. I think ima regret the Pokemon game cuz I never played one (really wasn't into it as a kid) but ima try it out anyway.

Anyone have an idea when the new 3ds models are coming to the US? I just bought a 3ds to play SSB (plus I eventually wanted one for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate). Now that I see theres a new one already out in Japan, I'm wondering if I should've waited.

I'm in the same boat as I just got my 3DS yesterday. I've been told no concrete date yet but sometime in the spring. It's cool tho, I snagged one for $129.99 from Best Buy..


Btw anyone have these for sale/trade? They didn't have a great selection at Best Buy so I just picked up TMNT.
