's suggestions..............the 3DS has access to Virtual Console.It'd be a good way to introduce your 7 yr old nephew to some of the ol' skool Nintendo classics thru that new 3DS you'll be getting him (except Super Mario 64 DS, never introduce him to that game...........that **** is garbage compared to the greatness of the original).
Unless your nephew has access to the SNES Classic, give him good ol' Super Mario World as his first 3DS game for Xmas

I bought a 3DS last year just for the new pokemon. Havent even finished it and haven't played in over 6 months lol
Considering getting a switch though. I'm really not into the single player games like super Mario but I love games like Mario Kart and that stardew farms or whatever looks like it may be interesting.
