cliffs of video :currently the lan adapter does really nothing ur wifi cant do because the speeds of the switch are capped. gives some tips to help get better signal for your wifi. maybe a update will make the lan adapters give the speeds they are capable of

Yeah, speeds may be capped, but lan offers a more stable connection.

Wired LAN always trumped wifi..........no matter what console/PC you're playing a game on.
Don't listen to the "oh it doesn't affect speeds if done differently" noise, wired connections is all about reducing as much lag as possible..........which wifi connections cannot do consistently.
If you're picking wifi connections over wired connections due to poor connection speed, then you're doing it wrong (I can allow it for people that cannot/unable to run a long ethernet cable to their consoles/PCs, but wanting "more speed" should never be the reason to pick wifi over wired LAN).
