There is a live invitational tournament for the new Smash on Switch going on at E3 in June...............that was pretty much a big giant sign saying that "IT IS COMING REALLY REALLY SOON."
I doubt they would do an invitational tournament at E3 if the game was only like 30% finished

meaning they are games that continue to sell throughout the life of the system
games like fire emblem or yoshi
and kirby and say even metroid
aren't those types of games
so if they tryna get that 20 mill
plus go big this holiday
it would mean coming this year
next year will be metroid
plus the standard 2d mario
i think maybe like a new super mario bros plus type game
and maybe a zelda title
a small one of course not giant one
plus that mario maker
those will help drive next year

Pokemon ain’t coming out this year, just a few months ago they were hiring people to start work on the game people with unreal engine experience. Don’t want a rushed Pokémon game.
Switch this year will get the smash port deluxe or whatever it will be branded as, ports ports and ports, Mario maker deluxe, vc games along with the online....and if it gets console version of fortnite that’s a wrap.
