Wanna cop DK but not anywhere near full price. Too many other good new games this yr

The beauty of Nintendo games (hell especially ports of older Nintendo games), they don't have this short-term luster like all these other AAA 3rd party games have that it is MUST-HAVE on release day.

If you don't wanna cop DKC now at the $60 tag that it will be sold at RD, it'll be there waiting for you 6 months later at $20-$30 off AND it'll give you the same feeling as if you were one of these people that copped on release day.

Compare that to a game of Destiny 2 after 6 months of its release.............ain't no1 wanna play that **** now LOL

Everybody waiting for the release of Smash yet I'm still waiting the announcement of Pikmin 4 lol

Pikmin don't push units, no offense...................i.e. Wii-U Pikmin 3 (b4 the Wii-U, the Gamecube was the second lowest selling home console........and Pikmin debuted on there LOL)

The problem with these games like this or OOT and MM 3D or Crash N Sane Trilogy is that when you give them updated graphics, the games lose their charm. These games look better on the older consoles because they were made for those consoles. You can't just improve the graphics and capture the same feeling of the game. Same thing with the controls. A lot of people complained about the controls being more difficult. And the less vivid colors just don't look right.

Moving them from a home console to a handheld is the real culprit here.......at least for the context of this particular game in Mario 64 DS. Especially since the original DS lacked an analog stick/analog thumb pad at the time, it just made it worse. And the technological limitations of a handheld DS, in comparison to what the 3DS's technology" now possess to develop 3D games, it just made the implementation of Mario 64 DS just terrible all around.

I agree to an extent overall in terms of "games losing their charge" when they are remade to modern-day graphic standards, BUT games like OoT 3D and Crash N-Sane Trilogy are the most highly recommended games for "newer gamers" that want to explore the older franchise. Especially for people that have converted over into "Nintendo fans" through Breath of the Wild, Nintendo fans often recommend the 3DS version of OoT to Zelda newbies over the original N64 version (or Virtual Console versions).

If you're a hardcore purist, then yeah.....you'll hate remakes period. But most fans, they'll gladly take a remake of their old game with more modern-day graphics AS LONG AS the modern day gaming tech doesn't alter the gameplay of the actual game. That's why N-Sane Trilogy and OoT 3D (and Majora 3D) are getting more praise for their remakes over the original versions...........in comparison to Mario 64 DS where gameplay had to be drastically altered due to technological limitations of the handheld DS.

Looks like the Switch hacking scene has really ramped up over the past couple of days. We might have the opportunity to have our own VC before Nintendo releases theirs .

https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2018...makes-every-current-nintendo-switch-hackable/

Won’t matter
That’s the reason
Nintendo changed the insides
Of the switch a few weeks ago
It’s that tegra chip or whatever
Nintendo changed it a couple weeks back maybe even later
To prevent this exact thing
The hacking will only work for switches
That happened before the internal change
Hackers have said the os is great
Against hacking
It’s that integra or tegra whatever it’s called
It’s the chip that has the vulnerability
And allows this
