My best tip is to don't ask for/seek out any help. Just play. The game is awesome if you just explore and discover on your own.

One thing that I can recommend is to turn on the "Pro Mode" in the settings (I think that's what it's called). It'll remove mostly every icon from your HUD. Makes the game alot more immersive.

Just picked up a switch for my wife.
I'm a PlayStation man myself but I just wanted to get her something that has games that she'll love and that we can play together.
Got her ultimate Mario kart and super Mario Odyssey for starters

The winners are in for the “Best of E3 2018” Game Critics Awards.

A number of Nintendo titles were nominated awards, including Smash Bros. Though it missed out on “Best of Show”, it was chosen as “Best Fighting Game”. Other highlights include Overcooked 2 for “Best Family/Social Game” and Fortnite as “Best Ongoing Game”.
