Most likely 'cuz Nintendo hasn't supplied them with new shipments of Switch consoles prior to the announcement of the liquidation of all stores............and knowing Nintendo, they didn't ship a good amount of consoles to these TRU stores due to the lack of system sellers being released between January up until now with the recent release of Kirby Star Allies (which probably didn't help push a lot of Switch console units either).

If these TRU stores had like 50 consoles in-stock per store...........damn rite you'd see like a 50% off or something. Although I'd doubt that too, the Switch is a HIGH DEMAND item........nobody puts their high demand items with a high liquidation discount during a foreclosure.

The items you'd see with a 50%-70% off would be those low-demand amiibos that are still sitting on the amiibo section shelves (like all those damn Animal Crossing amiibos).
My tru said they still getting shipments

My tru said they still getting shipments

I'm in the same situation as you, my local TRU is still getting their scheduled shipments..................that's 'cuz TRU headquarters hasn't told the rest of their stores to be foreclosed. My store literally had a notice at the front door of the store that said "No liquidation sales as of yet, we will find out more information NEXT WEEK."

The ones that are having liquidation sales are the original 480 stores that were announced to be closing back in the beginning of January. Next week will be the determination of when the remaining TRU stores that weren't on the original January closure list will begin their foreclosing/liquidation sales.

This ****, I swear to god, is the reason I HATE THE WII REMOTE CONTROLLER AND NUNCHUK.

It don't matter if you're hardcore platformer junkie like @debs 168 or a sandbox exploration pleb like myself and floodarea floodarea , being confined to this ******* Wii remote and its laggy input along with this extravagant control setup is the biggest flaw of the Nintendo Wii when it comes to core Nintendo games like this.

Give me a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, and I'll show you this is not suppose to be hard. This is artificially considered a hard level in Mario Galaxy due to the damn Wii controller's ****** input lag, but it is easily doable with a traditional control setup with "gyro" motion controls.

I assure you even if this type of level was in Super Mario 3D World on the Wii-U, this **** would've been easily considered a "moderate difficulty level" because it would've been manageable to complete due to either a Wii-U Pro Controller and/or the gamepad alone........because the Wii controllers are ****.

If there is one Wii game that people are praying gets a "Switch Virtual Console" update, it is this game right here.......and this is why

Edit: I'm saying this as I'm currently attempt #9 of this damn level :smh:

Edit 2: **** it, I give up with this **** level tonight .......I'll 100% Mario Galaxy 1 when it gets a Nintendo Switch "Virtual Console" port with Joy Con and/or Pro Controller support.
