exactly, literally everything will be different. yes gsw did get the benefit of some timely injuries to factors on the other teams. the table is set for them. they CANNOT dilly dally. its been like 40 yrs or something. And everything will be tougher next season. KD back. Pat Beverly back. Clippers might have born ready and paul pierce. spurs with kawhi. pelicans, AD is only going to get better. This warriors have to strike while the iron is hot. Aint no telling what next year may bring.
Look at OKC, got to the finals in 2012, young and ready. Fast forward a couple of years to now? Russell with multiple knee injuries, KD with concerns about his foot, he might even bolt soon, brand new coach, things change quick in the L. No guarantee you'll be back to this. Injuries happen, unluckiness happens.

Giving the MVP to a member on the winning team, just because they won, doesn't even fit the Most Valuable Player narrative, right?

You give it to the player with the best standout performance in the series on the winning team. Giving it to the guy on a losing team is laughable IMO. Who cares how great he played, they lost.

Lebron saying he the best in world means he's insecure? Yall sound foolish #iKnowLateResponse
Lebron is quite possibly more insecure than me, and thats impossible
i wouldnt be surprised if he started game 6 with a tin foil hat

Exactly. Remember after game 3 I think it was, Kobe tweeted that gsw was playing like they planned on being right back at the finals and the cavs were playing like their lives depended on it. Dudes realize how hard it is. Maybe because it was somewhat easier for the dubs this year, they're jaded into thinking this is how it is. Dudes gotta be out for blood tonight. None of that, 'we'll just take it easier, no biggie, we wanna win in front of our fans'. tongith may be the first game where experience and veteran leadership comes into play. Close out games are so unbelievably hard. Players can get stagnant and accept a loss if they know there's another game left. You do NOT want to leave that up to chance.

Wouldnt it be something if the cavs spaz tonight...get a ton of false hope...dubs battle back...and the game is won on a curry shot...to make up for that airball in game 3....kid would be the chosen one.

Scott Foster reffing Game 6
Cavs are done
NBA wants them to go away

Being the man at 19 and learning how to be a superstar>>>>> watching lebron dribble for 20 seconds and limiting your game to being a spot up shooter

Wiggins would have shined these Finals if he didn't get traded
but instead he's sitting at home

nah his confidence would have already been cooked when blatt was under fire (before they got all the pieces lebron wanted). wiggins is going to get some super max deal from toronto as long as he keeps it up. i thnk he's cool with not being in the finals

thats what they said about lebron...
Different situations. Love forced a trade while LeBron signed with Miami as a free agent.
Plus Love has no marketing incentive to go back to Minny, while LeBron and his brand managers understood the greater marketing potential to "come back" to Cleveland and have a shot at winning the championship for the factory of sadness.
