it was sent as gift meaning it wasnt for a item so he cant file a claim.

obviously the guy didnt use a credit card so hes pretty much screwed otherwise he could file a chargeback and get his money back no problem.

Technically, OP should be at fault since he sent the shoes to an unconfirmed paypal addy.

Had he took the time to match the addresses ol' dude wouldn't be out of $310.
