TBH, in 1994 i didn't like them either. By the time it got to 2002 i didn't have to pick and choose my sneakers, and they were an easy cop at 50% off.
The color grew on me, and i like them because it's not instantly obvious what sort of shoe they are. Even 15 years after the shoe first dropped,
the combination of the inner bootie, the lacing system, and the cut of the shoe provides a fantastic fit.

The quality on these shoes is terrible.

The leather literally feels like plastic.

The midsole would prob lose it's color if you ever tried to clean them.
