im not sure if they have these at your city, but in chicago these ladys are literally scaterred in most corners, well myfriends next time you see this lady dont just drive right by her, because more than likely shes sellin these pieces of ABSOLUTE CRACK....

theyre called tamales, theyre usually stuffed with either pork or chicken, and wrapped around with corn maize, and come withyour choice of usually either red sauce or green sauce, i usually roll with the green ones...

you could buy one for like 75 cents, i usually drop 5 bucks and get about 8 of them....just trynna put my fellow NT'ers onone of the best values ive EVER found food wise...

Isn't that poupoussas (sp?). I LOVE them. I also like tamales with coffee on the side. That is one the main thing I miss about my ex (he is CostaRican),his mom's cooking.

The empanada lady used to be in Flushing Meadows around the soccer fields, but i haven't been there in a while.
