Your idea of going straight 1-30 and repeating this every round is probably the most unfair way humanly possible.
That's how real drafts work. Obviously this is different because real drafts factor in the teams previous records, and we don't have that here.
However, I'm in favor of it here because we're drafting a whole roster. It would ensure that everyone has the same number of picks between their selections. More skill and different strategies would be used this way. Sure teams 1 and 30 might have a talent difference, but it would be as realistic as possible.
I see 1 and 60, 30 and 31, and 15 and 45 being way more unfair and causing a higher overall variance.
Edit: I'm just arguing for the sake of arguing and don't really care, just don't like how snake drafts don't happen outside of fantasy leagues.
