Nah i've had a government contractor position before with a consulting agency and we weren't vested from start date. Are you paid as a government employee or by the contracting company?

My last firm it was 33.3% vesting per year. Of you quit before the three years they took their slice of it back.

I'm not a government employee, I work for one of the top government contractor companies and am paid by them.

Northrop Grumman, BAE, Booz Allen, General Dynamics, L3, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Accenture, Leidos, etc

Same. And the company I'm mentioning now is also in the list you provided. No one I know of has had full vesting day 1 of employment. Its usually in increments or 3 years.

I can take a guess lol only 2 consulting companies on the list, Booz and Accenture. I'd never work for Booz they are too grimey and deceitful. Haven't had a single friend like Accenture or say they stick to their word, wouldn't work for them either.

I check Mint multiple times a day. Once when I wake up and sporadically throughout the day afterwards.

There's also Personal Capital which does a similar thing to Mint but has a more robust investment account option which allows me to track my holistic portfolio performance automatically as opposed to having to do it myself.

I go over Mint comprehensively at the beginning of each month and quickly once or twice a week to keep track of spending and catch anything that was categorized incorrectly.

Don't use bill reminder cause I set up auto-withdraw. But I use to to check CC balance and monitor transactions to make sure there aren't any fraudulent charges.

Do guys know if Barclays allows you to open multiple or sub accounts? I'd like to have everything in one place but have multiple accounts for emergency, wedding, etc. I believe Ally does but I was interested in Barclays online savings and dream account.

Thanks.
