NT official Spring Summer Body TRANSFORMATION challenge March 1-June 1

I guess I could add Walnuts as one of my snacks. Don't know what fruit I could consistently see myself eating though.

Switch it up. I buy a container of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries at the start of my week.

Vary up what I eat when for the next few days. Then pick up some apples or some grapes.

Apples, oranges and bananas travel well. Plums, peaches etc.

stay away from peanuts.

Why would you say such a thing? Especially without a reason.

Please, dont listen to him.

Don't stay away from peanuts.
Stay away from salted, honey roasted, glazed, chocolate covered, or candy peanuts.

But raw unsalted peanuts along with unsalted cashews/almonds are a great source of the right kind of fat (good fats) as well as some protein.

Just portion them properly to fit your daily calorie needs.

But we all need good fats, good carbs, and good proteins in our diet REGARDLESS of goals.

Cut or Bulk.

The only difference would be portion.

Peanuts contain more calories and saturated fat per serving that almonds.

if he's trying to shed weight, peanuts are one of the last nuts he should be reaching for (pause heem)

was on mobile earlier.

That makes sense. Thank you for replying, now I can see what you meant.

Yeah if you have the privilege of being able to choose what nuts you can buy (have the right funds) then choosing almonds or cashews would be a better choice ratio wise.

I just meant, overall, they aren't horrible for you in snack type portions unless they are covered in salt or sugar.

You are right though, almonds would probably be a better choice if you want to make every calorie count.

I didn't mean to come off like they were terrible for you or anything

I snack on a mix of almonds, cashews, walnuts, pistachios, sunflower seeds, and dried cranberries. Expensive, but a lot better than a bag of hot cheeto's

Thanks. I'll try it out. Usually when I buy fruits in bulk, they always rot before I get to them

I just had half a subway sandwich. 8o

Wheat, veggies, with steak. No cheese. Just sriracha sauce. 8o

Steak= one of the meats with higher fat content, 1g fat= 9 calories, more calories consumed. If that sauce was creamy then its higher in fat so its higher in calories.

Get the oven roasted chicken breast, wheat bread,  no cheese, all the veggies you want and a little bit of mustard.  Its under 700 calories in a footlong.

Thanks dude. I'll be getting that sandwich from now on then.
That or the turkey with honey roasted ham seem to be good.

I effed up today with that sandwich so I can't really eat anything else today lol.
Good thing i split the sub in two. 8o

Sadly, eating better often comes at a higher price point, so it's better to buy as you go than buy in bulk.

Almonds/cashews etc. you should buy in bulk if you can and just keep them on you at all times.

When I'm really in my zone, sometimes I'll make a few extra hard boiled eggs and keep them in my bag.

I'll try to do that. I have a big bag of walnuts at the house, so I could ration them out in bags and keep a few in my backpack. As far as the fruit goes, I guess I'll try to get some that I know I could eat and not waste.

Ive ate nothing but 15 cupcakes the last 24 hours. Literally thats all. Lol

Got back on my calorie counting today. The amount of carbs vs protein I took in today was :x Going to hit the store tomorrow since it is my day off and make some food for the rest of the week.

Woke up this morning at 530 ran for about 40mins. I hate running I get tired so quick, I rarely do cardio these days. I'm flat footed and its a pain when running long distance. Anyone got any tips for a flat foot? Recommendation of some running shoes?
