I like the Cards because Carpenter has been amazingly hot these past couple starts and Wilson hasn't. I wouldn't bet against their momentum.
What do you guys think about these games?

Damn...I thought I was done, but I guess I had some winners I forgot about last weekend.
Having said that...I put a little wager on Texas tonight. Reason being is that I heard reports earlier in the week that Carpenter was feeling some soreness in his arm..Elbow. Carpenter says he's good, but his curveball last game showed he may be feeling it.
The Ranger lineup is no joke and if they jump on Carpenter early, I think Larussa will want Carpenter to rest up as much as possible to get him ready for his next start. STL's bullpen has been working overtime just to get them to the WS so I think Game 1 advantage has to go to Texas.
