Does Mr. Harbrough have money on this game for his team not to cover?

There's zero reason why you wouldn't take that safety and the ball back.

NFL is always rigged. Too bad I realized it too late... any normal person will take the pts. but luckily its a push for me

Were my emotions last night when they called safety then Harbaugh generously gave my points back.

I was like "damn does this dude have the hawks +8 too????"

Then these dudes had the nerve to scare me again with a measurement and a review and everything. Yikes.

2-1 on the night... only lost the 1/2 unit play on the Seahawks ML.

ended up takin Oregon -6.5 to win 100$(don't know why i bought the pts)

Seahawks cashed luckily(harbaugh didn't wanna cover LOLOLOL)

....still think they coulda won tho.

can't get greedy....

....got another play on the CUSE/UCONN GAME i'll hit up the thread later!

It was the smart football play

And as much as Stanford covered in his tenure, him purposely not covering doesn't really make sense.

What makes it smarter than going up 9 pts and kneeling on the ball after the punt? You cant onside punt after a Safety... Suppose you could kick it sky high and hope for a muff.Still up 2 scores though.

Taking the ball and kneeling it is the only way to virtually guarantee that the other team has no shot @ the ball.

You take the points and kick, you have to trust that your return men will, field the ball cleanly (on what will likely be a sky scraper kick) and hold on to the ball when they get hit. It's not like the 9ers haven't been burned before on returners not fielding the ball cleanly

Take a knee, get out of there, no one gets hurt and you win the game.

Chances are slim that they would have been able to manufacture the 2 scores but crazy **** has happened. Why even risk it

I have no idea but why even risk the ball bouncing off a shoulder pad or a facemask. I'd venture a guess that a muffed punt happens more often than a fumbled snap on a kneel down.

And after a physical game like that, why risk more injuries on ST's. You know the Seahawks are going be coming 1000mph smacking into the 9ers players

^ u know wut i found out after that write up....

about 3-4 months ago, Harbaugh's wife actually got Jim and Pete to meet and supposedly now they're good friends.(hence maybe why he didn't even take the saftey??? didn't wanna 'embaress' his new pal after the whole fiasco years ago)...

inside info like that is great to know...def helps u decide on the play and how big to go IMO.

might have a BIG play brewing for Sat. just gotta wait to see if the stars align for it(pause)

ive been sitting out past couple weeks but i got 3 big plays this sunday need to find me some good ncaa ones

None of the CFB lines this weekend are attractive to me. If I make a play it will be on a whim.

That Packers x Rams line is pretty low. -5.5? Tarp?
Maybe, maybe not...

Pack could hang 40 on them however you'd think its the classic case of coming off a huge win and then playing down to opponent.

I'd personally take the 5.5 but I've learned not to bet my own team.

that line does look fishy to me too.

gb was +4 at HOU and put on a show. Texans are supposed to have a great def, yet packers put up 42 on them.
Now they go to St Louis and it's -5....

is this supposed to be a let down game? i forgot where i saw the stat from, but it went something like...if a team scores 30+ the week before, they USUALLY come out flat the following week.

You cant forget however this offense averaged 35ppg last year... If they start rolling like they were... Rodgers can hang 40 on just about anyone.

Houston did me dirty last night :x, This weekend I got:
NCAAF:
Pitt -9.5
Rutgers -4
Louisville -6
East Carolina -3
Kent State -3

NFL:
Cowboys -1 (This game feels like a trap)
Packers -5

[th=""]Colin's Picks[/th][th=""]Result[/th]

Cardinals (+6.5) at Vikings

Titans (+3.5) at Bills

Cowboys (-2.5) at Panthers

******** (+6) at Giants

Steelers (-1.5) at Bengals

Cowherds picks again... He was 4-1 last week... 20-10 on the season. 3 of those L's came in week 1.

I like his analysis and his NFL picks since last season late have been on fire.
