I would say 85% of my plays are my own analysis. I definitely keep my mind open to anyone's POV on a game or team, but I've found following your own gut, especially if you know your stuff, is the best way to go.
I definitely don't pay for a service (thought about it, but nothing is guaranteed and I feel more comfortable losing with my gut), but I do frequent therx.com. Some people that post in there are really good and provide great insight, but as with most sites, it's hard to find quality insight instead of just plays. I take into account someone like Colin Cowherd as well. He's pretty damn good at betting. There would be more, but not too many people are open with talking publicly about the why's of their plays or if they even play at all.
You'll find your "go-to" sources, if you will, just to get that other perspective, but I only do it to reinforce my picks. After you do it for awhile you accumulate enough knowledge to know how the betting world works and you just go from there.
