Doesn't going with Toronto over Cleveland contradict your rule of not fading a historical winner?

Not when that historical winner is an underdog, especially over -200. That's a tell tell right there they want everyone betting Cleveland. You know how many bets are going to be on Cleveland at +180 odds? Casino's are gonna get rich.

People are hesitant to beat Cleveland, they just saw them have to fight tooth and nail to get past Indiana. All season the narrative has been that Cleveland is a disfunctional team, it's just LBJ and a bunch of bums.

The name Lebron is all people see. They don't see Cavs, they see Lebron. LEBRON - UNDERDOG - OMG! Where do I go to bet this? Especially against an unpopular team in Canada that has no star as the face of their franchise. This series was over 4 months ago when Toronto was the favorite at every sportsbook in the world to win the East.

All I see and hear is commentary like this. People aren't expecting LeBron to just keep repeating this type of performance, especially against a couple levels up in Toronto.

It doesn't matter. In people's minds, they think somehow - someway Lebron always prevails. The action is gonna be heavy and often against an unknown team in Canada. People trying to get rich at +180 odds. if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. There is a reason I'm the ONLY person here that likes Toronto. If Toronto is so good, why am I the ONLY person that likes them here? It's just not here, my entire Twitter timeline is saying Cavs Warriors Final:lol: They are already ALL IN. :smh::lol:

I don't know what kind of people you follow. The ones the follow seem to think Houston is going to win it all. People saw MJ that way as someone who always prevails, LeBron not so much even though he's more superhuman physically.

How many people are saying Toronto is going to the Finals? Probably nobody. Yet, they have and still are the favorite after 4 months? It's over.....

They are the favorite because they are best team in the East as far as record. The Cavs have been disfunctional all season and the Sixers didn't look like much a threat until last month.

Odds just went up to -215 on the Raptors to win the series. +185 on the Cavs. Odds aren't going down, they are going UP. They are really baiting that hook. :smh::lol:

Season series was 2-1 Cleveland I believe including two close wins in the final month for Cleveland. I think Cleveland pulls it off in an entertaining series.

Toronto vs Houston or Toronto vs Golden State in the finals is going to be the least viewed Finals in NBA history. Philly vs Houston or Philly vs Golden State would be :hat

Toronto Blue Jays had the most viewers out of any team in MLB a couple years back because their fandom is insane. The entire country of Canada will tune in and watch. Probably get more worldwide viewers than any other match up. Won't get as many viewers in the United States but the NBA is global.

Coincidence? https://www.raptorshq.com/2018/3/13...s-tv-ratings-sportsnet-report-houston-rockets

Do you have Boston winning the series though? :nerd:

They could. Those numbers are insane. For some reason they can't beat em? I imagine Philly will be favored by 7-7 1/2 points at HOME, since they are even favored IN Boston. It's gonna be tough, but Boston can easily upset this young team.

Philly -400 is way too much juice, I would imagine people are hammering the +320 on Boston. I'll see if Boston can get a lead then the odds for Philly to win the series will be better.

They have lost 14 out of 16 games against Boston. The numbers don't lie. If Boston loses Game 1 the series is over because Philadelphia is going to be favored by a lot at HOME if they even beat them in Boston. I wouldn't doubt it if Boston wins the first two games of this series.

How does the records matter when philly was infamously tanking (obviously not talking about this year) and didn’t have embiid, Simmons, redick, several other key guys, and this Celtics team is completely different. Trends like that are irrelevant imo

Still like Boston? No Jaylen Brown tonight

With Jaylen brown out and playing at home as the underdog, Boston will be looking to step it up. I like the value here.
