No, they are betting on Lebron James because he's been in the Finals 10 years in a row. They just expect him to advance to The Finals no matter what. Difference is, back then he was FAVORED to advance to The Finals.
He had better teammates then and the sports analysts were not provoking doubt every other day like they have this season. The Cavs just squeaked it out against the Pacers of all teams in the first round. People can't be throwing money on the Cavs willy-nilly. I find that hard to believe.

As a long shot, they are. Everyone wants to spend little money to make a lot of money. When the name Lebron James can make that possible, people run to bet it. If the odds were even, I'd say the Cavs had a chance, but as underdogs they don't stand a chance to win this series. I bet there is some guy holding a $100,000 ticket right now to make $180,000 on the Cavs. People all looking for the big Holly Holm payout. Not gonna happen. I gotta go to bed now. Talk to ya fellas later.

Why would anyone correlate that game to this one? The Cavs could be more likely to cover today simply because they only covered 1 game in the last series, and 1 out of their last 8 games. Plus a lot of people are buying into the whole Lebron is fatigued story.

:lol c'mon freaky you know the answers. DP will correlate completely different sporting events when hes capping lol. He factors in the NFL when he caps college basketball haha. Not throwing shade - he's all our favorite degen, its just you already know dont try to use too much logic here

All the money was on Indiana in game 7

I see the logic in it and use a similar strategy sometimes. However, I don't think people who lost yesterday would necessarily chase on the Cavs-Raptors game.

i'm gonna tail the raptors. cavs haven't covered all season haha. yesterday was a disaster. celtics couldn't miss

Phils had a great chance last night man bases loaded 1out. They blew that chance tho. Our 4-5 hole has been weak sauce all year

Arrieta looked rough like it was his 1st start as well

I was pretty confident in that bet all good -300 to start week, ill bounce bavk

I don't correlate sports. It's called diversions. When football is being played, basketball favorites cover. It's been that way for over 25 years, but you probably don't pay attention to that kinda stuff.

On the Raps as well, but @ -7 for 2U 3U.

Their bench should feast. My gut tells me this is going to be a blow out, so that probably means it'll be a nail biter.

edit:

Threw an extra unit on it.

Ok I have a significant amount on the Toronto ML and I am getting nervous. Every sports show and everyone here is bearish on the Cavs.

Every sports station I turn to says: Toronto 2nd worst Game 1 record in NBA history. Have lost 6 straight Playoff games vs. Cleveland. First time Lebron has been an underdog since 2008. I haven't seen one good thing about Toronto, yet the points are going up.:ohwell::lol:

What are your channels and sources? :lol
Only prominent analyst I saw favor the Cavs this morning was Colin Cowherd and he didn't even have any real rationale besides it's hard to go against history basically. Everyone else is buying into the Lebron has no help, Lebron is fatigued, Cavs are ripe for the picking against this Toronto team with depth.
