Yo :rollin that's classic

So is it safe to say he would have been on the property of his home the whole time or he showed up after the fact?

I believe he was close by to make sure dude went through with the deed or to have a quick transaction of what it was he originally sent him to retrieve (earrings is what I've heard, along with a ring). I think he may have even heard or seen the crime as well but I don't think he stabbed either one of them, just orchestrated it.

I don't get how Hurricane Katrina is an American crime story though.

Maybe because of how they mishandled the events leading up to the hurricane or maybe about the bias on which they pick up certain neighborhoods before others and let people die or maybe it's about all those prisoners that were on the freeway that have never been found....

I'm just kidding

Or nah?

That's more of a Bush and FEMA problem and they've made tons of those movies (hell I think Will Smith is going to do a movie about that). At least the first part.

The coverage was just plain racist. The prisoners on the freeway is an angle though but I've never heard about that on a huge scale like OJ.

Don't get me wrong, Hurricane Katrina in general was a big story that lasted for more than one year but starting this anthology series with OJ made me think the next thing they'd go to would be the Menendez Bros or something along those lines.

Hmm that makes sense. Pretty interesting take on the case. My girl swears this is how it went down so she is adamant on watching the series and see how they portray the whole thing.

Kris's comment in the video about OJ calling her from jail:
“[He said,] ‘I didn’t do it,’ unprompted. I asked a lot of questions. It was so early on, and I just listened to him and I think he listened to me, because I think there was a fondness that the two of us had for each other for a long time. You know, we were friends.”
Hell for all we know, they were swingers and shared each others wives or something and OJ was #teamraw back then and Kris got caught up, lol

There's nothing anyone can say about this that will change my mind on it either. It's only one episode into the first season and I'm already pissed at the choice for season two :lol

I'd like the Charles Manson Tate/LaBianca murders. That whole cult thing interests me.
that would be cool too, even though it  predates most of the audience it's something that's an anchor in american popular culture which is Murphy's m.o. to a tee

most of his stuff is really west coast based.  I feel like he could make a dope neo noir movie

Kardashian family in season 1 and kids being named dropped. They going to have Season 2 time too?

Who will get to play Kanye during the telethon for his George Bush comment?

I thought the first episode was great!

I liked how they talked about how OJ got the superstar treatment from the cops, Cochrane talking with Chris Darden about civil rights, etc.
